Hopefully I can save someone here. Do NOT buy an AMD 7900 XT(X).
You all know me as an AMD fanboy, and I still am because I'm stuck with them as the only non-cunts that will give me an open-source driver to tinker on, but there is something very seriously wrong with these things on a fundamental level.
50-150% frametime variance ~3x / second in VR. It seems someone okay outside of VR, but the frametime inconsistency is still present, though less noticeable.

@ codeYeTi I just have a normal 5800x non 3d. and a rtx 2080. with 16 gbs of ram. I need to upgrade my gpu soon because I play at 1440p, then ill probably get the next gen 3d cpus and some more ram.

I love nvidia graphics and amd cpus, The 5800x3d is the best. I need to get a new gpu soon, because playing arma with 1440p sucks when shooting people drops my frames to like 40
