yeah - i mean thats always an option, but I didnt want to suggest this unless its a last resort.

its just an easier solution than having devs make a system so you can buy items with warpoint which already can be purchased with cash.

depends on the vehicle...there are some decent semi-armed vehicles in the new tanks update that may be good for this..

Yeah - we need error message from Steam / Arma ... also there should be an entry in the 'Applications' event logs for when the application crashes. Please describe the files you tried deleting as well. This shouldn't have to be done as steam basically hashes all your game files and compares them with the hashes on steam servers...so basically if there is even the slightest change in the game files the hash won't match and itll redownload... Other stuff: - What anti-virus you use? Why - because some AV has application blacklisting capabilities (most do) and ive seen arma and other games have to be whitelisted to work. - Have you made ANY changes to you computer since it last worked? Windows/Driver/Application Update, newly installed application, newly removed application, etc etc. - Does the launcher open and not the game or vice versa - Did the game work after the tanks update? - What are your system specs? Answer best you can (Motherboard, RAM, CPU, GPU, PSU Wattage, # of drives)

considering betting money has already (potentially) cause serious server lag/issues I'd say no on the betting...but vehicles is a good idea..(but like something you cant get at rebel with money)

So a few updates back arma by default unbinded voice over net... have you tried re-beinding it to double capslock? Also does the 'direct voice' (white) on the bottom left remain lit while talking?

Personally I think its a bad idea, not because Socio was a bad guy, because he wasnt... but because you simply dont 'know' what other people in a community are going through. A lot of people play video games to exit the daily irl grind/stress/etc. By idolizing someone, even as respected and loved by the community as Socio, it makes it 'real' and may make others who feel they are just a shadow think they too can become idolized or seen, even if its just for a moment on some game server somewhere.... I know that's kinda deep and may seem irrational to some, but facts are people in the state of mind of suicide simply aren't in a rational state of mind.

Again - the odds are the SAME with each and every bet. So he wins 3 in a row... the odds have NOT changed for him to win a 4th time. Think of it as flipping a coin...no matter how many times heads comes up in a row, the next flip will be a 50% chance of hitting heads... Now if you want to get into the nitty gritty of statistics, we could say 'the odds of kev hitting 1 in a row is 50%, the odds of kev hitting 2 in a row is 25%, the odders of kev hitting 3 in a row is 12.5%, so damn man the odds of kev hitting 4 in a row is 6.25%..(aka formula = odds^attempts) ok i need to bet the house that he won't hit again... if you bet the house on that logic you're an idiot because your betting the house on a 50/50 chance not a 93.75/6.25 chance. Now if you made a side bet that kev won't hit 4 in a row BEFORE he started better...then thats a safe bet...

Lesson 1 to gambling... house always wins (meaning you ALWAYS LOSE)... Odds are 50/50 but eventually you'll have a bad luck streak.. ie. contrary to what some believe, if you lose 3 in a row and gamble a 4th time, the odds of winning are still the same as when you bet the first 3 times. A sample size of 10 bets isnt big enough to have the odds even out...however a few hundred bets you should see even returns...only issue is if you win the little bets and lose the big bets you are SOL... hence why i am NOT gambling.
