It may be in the sense that it can go faster but that is about all it has. It is much more prone to being destroyed due to it's speed. It's harder to control at higher speeds vs the other hatchback that is slower but is able to be controlled better.
  2. Well since you decided to make this wonderful post I will let you know that I will no longer be replying to the ticket that was submitted. A few things were said back and forth trying to resolve this and the last thing you wrote was to speak with Ares regarding the situation. Had you been patient and waited for me to actually speak with him the outcome may have been different. From the posting here however it seems that you are in fact the same person that was banned and are just looking to cause even more issues then you have in the past. Just to clarify once again, when an account is banned, we ban all the player accounts related to that player. We do this because the player has been permanently banned with at least one account, meaning they have done something fairly bad and they do not deserve to be on the servers even with a new account. To prevent further issues with the community we do what we can to prevent that player from coming back under different accounts, which many players have tried to do in the past. In this case, as I believe you are in fact the banned player, you made the comment that it didn't matter if I banned all your accounts you would simply buy more since you had money to burn. So at this point since you clearly want the rest of the community to know what is going on I'll make it clear that the bans on all the account will not be lifted. If you had waited until I spoke with the other staff regarding this issue as you requested then the outcome could have possibly been different.
  3. Neither of em have anything on the gang "Olympus Staff". We're sleepers, just waiting to pounce on the rich...lol

Yes I forgot about the storage crates when I replied at first. Regarding the other comments yes donators have access to different vehicles but it is nothing game breaking. Everyone has access to ground vehicles, air vehicles and clothing of some sort. P2W would be like giving donators only access to sniper guns/scopes. That would give a clear advantage over other players. What they currently have does not give much of an advantage.

This is correct. We try our hardest not to make this a P2W set of servers. The perks players get when they donate allow them access to skins we make, a larger paycheck a couple of vehicles but nothing that is game breaking. Anything a donator can do a non-donator is still able to do.
  6. It doesn't make what it used to but it is more inline with the other legal types of items. Copper is probably the second highest selling legal item due to distance, weight & risk involved. Poseidon used alot of calculations when he did the pricing this time around. Keep in mind if you choose to backtrack to sofia to process then it will seem further when in fact you can process next to the airfield instead.
  7. Once we get the hardware inline and see the numbers stay at a constant then we can go ahead and get the other server back up. I haven't had any issues with framerate myself when on but that doesn't mean other don't. While the economy may need small tweaks it seems to be in a much better spot. It is suppose to be harder to make money and in turn players will always have something to do vs before the wipe. The amount you make depends on what your doing and the distance you travel is calculated into the pricing that is setup. Something that requires you to use the whole map will net more money then something that you only have to travel alittle ways for.
  8. We are testing hardware out on the current servers. Our goal is to hit 100 slots and the only way to test that is by filling the current servers to max and see how they hold up. Poseidon goes through after each restart and checks how the servers held up and makes any changes that may help improve the stability. Once he feels he has done everything he can do as well as any bugs fixed then the 3rd will be brought back up. It won't be a long term thing with just 2 servers but we have to make sure everything is working as it should be. Being able to raise our slots from 75 to 100 is another 75 players total allowed on the servers at any given time.
  9. Oh ya not saying it isn't. Whenever you play any game with a group of players it will almost always be easier to get things. AL is no different no matter what we might do.
  10. The DP and gas stations have had there prices reduced to be inline with the economy. You should not longer get $50k from a DP run and the gas stations are much lower. It was something we missed and have since corrected. The restrain drag is something I'm not a fan of but we will see how it goes for a bit before possibly doing anything. I was able to make roughly $80k last night doing a copper run, took bout 45 minutes total in an offroad. This is much more inline then making $300k or so off a single copper run. As said in another posts we may make small tweaks but the old style of getting money is gone. It will be harder to make money but at the same time it will add more to the experience for players. Alot of people are used to the old pricing we had and so it will take time to adjust to the change. There is no reason a person should do a single run and get a full load-out as well as having extra money left. It should take someone a few runs to get the nicer things.
  11. Yes it was a complete wipe excluding whitelisted ranks but they also had to earn money to buy the items they need for the roles.
  12. The reason the cartels are in the area that they are is because that whole island will be a redzone. We added it for them players that want more KOS areas without it effecting the main map. Cartels were added to give alittle more incentive to go into these areas. Redzones in general are spread out, while some might be closer then others in the end it is pretty even'd out. Again if people had an issue with the placement of things waiting until the last minute is not the best idea. We've had the Dev up for over a month to allow for testing. We don't want Redzones inside of cities and that is why the dealers are located slightly outside of them. Having them right in town caused to many issues in the past and that is why we moved them. I'm personally not a fan on one of the dealers but meh cant have it all.
  13. Ya and if ya lose something you will have to get a new one by actually doing something. Our goal has never been to have a server that was get rich quick. We feel everyone should work for it, if they lose something yes it will suck but it won't be like oh well I can get another easy. You will have to actually be careful on the things you do. You will actually play a somewhat challenging game again. The problem is you like the easy route and we are removing that easy mode of play. Games such as Arma only live as long as the content, if you run out of things to do then you stop playing. As it is right now if we didn't do what we are then the life of the content we have would end shortly. Doing it the way we are allows players to actually have something to do each time they get on instead of wondering what to do because they already have everything and a wall of cash.
  14. You have to downscale your recordings. Also only use the replay feature of OBS for your needs. If you check out the guides section on the forums you will see a couple different posts that relate to setting up OBS.
  15. New PC parts inc, can't wait only problem is I think they will be here Friday so I might have to wait til the weekend to put em in.

  16. And thats why we have the Dev server up and going. We have been watching it but not many have gotten on it to really test it out. We've done what we can on our end to test but without a larger base of people actually getting on we will have to tweak things once it goes live.
  17. I think this is the biggest worry and we don't want this. We don't want everything handed to you but we also don't want all work and no play. The idea is that we will hit a balance with all the changes. At some points you may have to make them runs to get money, other times you will have enough already and you can go do something else. Roleplay means just that, you are playing a role simulated in a sense based off real life. While not everything can be done just as it is in real life we can try to add some checks and balances in though such as making it so player have to actually do alittle work to get some of the nicer things. The first few days will be rough and that is expected but in the following weeks it will even back out and hopefully we have balanced things enough to were players feel and understand fully why we are doing this.
  18. You may like it bit it isn't balanced. There is no reason a person should make a single run and be able to purchase a Taru and a full loadout and still have cash to spare. Doing it that way shortens the gameplay and the experience. Your not worried about losing things because they are so easy to get back. With the new changes it won't be this way. It will take a few trips and on each trip you will have to decide if its worth doing again or moving on to something else. You will have to decide do I prefer this vehicle or do I want to save for that one. It will force players to make a choice in what they do instead of just going in and mindlessly killing people because there isn't anything else to do.
  19. Have faith all, it'll be ok in the end.

  20. We will be watching things and taking constructive criticism from players. We know and understand some things may need to be adjusted and we have no problem doing that if it seems to be a big enough issue. This is part of the reason we had the Dev server open for so long, we wanted player feedback so when it did go live much less tweaking would be needed. While I understand that you have to keep in mind that we all have lives outside of the game. To many people have gotten the mindset that this game mode should just be a cakewalk and everything should be given right away. Doing that only makes starting the game fun. In the long run you get bored because you have everything so quickly and easily. The goal of this update is so you can have fun no matter how much time you play. If you can only play alittle then you will have smaller goals. If you have time to play longer the goals may be larger. All players will have the ability to earn the same things in the end but it might take longer for some. This is how almost all games work keep in mind. To some it might and to others it might not. With the amount of changes going in we couldn't just leave most things in place. If we did that then it would still be the same old thing.
  21. You summed it up pretty good there. The whole point of a roleplaying server is to engage in each situation differently. This means when it comes to getting things they aren't just handed to you. You have to work for it and once that work has been done you get to enjoy the perks. As it currently stands money is far to easy to come by. Being able to make a single run and then go buy a high value vehicle, a full loadout and still have plenty to burn just doesn't work. People get bored this way and tend to try and find other things to do with there time such as trolling other players. With the new system making a single run will be nice but you also won't be able to just think ahh who cares if I lose this, I'll make a quick meth run and buy it all over again. Now you will go damn that took 3-4 meth runs to get, I need to be a bit more careful. There needs to be a risk of losing stuff in a game like this otherwise it gets old quick.
  22. Yes
  23. I just went back into the Vigi's rule and you are correct. It does state this and I am unsure as to why. This was something that was changed awhile back. Let me talk to the rest of the staff and see what may have happened. I may have been the one to make the mistake and forgot to change it in one of the updates.
  24. If you, as a Vigi, catch a wanted player worth more then $75k only you get to decide if the person can pay the ticket or not. If you want the bounty you can take them directly to jail. If you want to be the nice guy and let them pay the ticket you take them to an APD member. The only time your required to hand them over is if you happen to catch someone that is under the $75k mark and you shouldn't be going after them anyways. As for the OP, sry to hear your tickets weren't seen. We switched over to a new ticket system awhile back and that may be why.If you are recording on twitch then it is fairly easy to make a report. Simply highlight the situation, then send the video to your youtube channel if you have one. Include a link in the ticket and no matter how long it takes the video will still be there. APD shouldn't be taking a bounty away from a Vigi if the Vigi is following the rules.
  25. Yes Marshall law is for them extreme moments when the APD is clearly outnumbered and outgunned. A time when they can't get a city back under control no matter what they do. It is not something we like to use often unless it really calls for it. If we, the staff, believe it is a situation that calls for it then we will observe what is going on for a bit and then decide to call it if needed.
