Does anyone know how RPG's react with water?

Just curious of anyone knows how RPG's react to water so I can hopefully avoid conducting some expensive experiments.  

Do they explode when they hit the surface of water, when they hit the ocean floor, or do they fizzle?

So far the best ways to kill anti are

1) Grenades
2) Sdar
3) Give up and let them just have the cap

Sdar fights usually lose unless they throw 3 at me or catch me slipping.  I'm adapting to the grenades pretty well.

You know the best way to kill you is hovering above you in an orca and dropping someone out with a wetsuit and sdar works everytime

RPGs explode on the base of the water, however the explosion damage does register a few meters into the water.

Sounds like shitty map design... EZ fix, code it so you cant contest if youre wearing a rebreather...(like it will say contested but not pause the bar this way it cant be exploited to hide on cap)

I think we already made it clear from you dicking around that there is no counter.  Also no counter to missiles from jets.
