The Mako Allegations: State of the Server

It has been alleged that the reason the server has been so laggy and crashing so consistently is because Mako donated $20,000 USD of Olympus' money to a twitch streamer to get her attention. and in turn, the server has been forced to use less than optimal hosting and the server itself has sold some of its ram and a processor to try to cover the bank account that has gone into the negative because of his alleged actions. 

The way it's being repeated is that he intended to claim fraud to get the money back after he got her attention, but the Visa fraud department looked into it and determined that it was not fraud, so now the server is desperately short on funds and struggling to get by.  She then allegedly blocked him for trying to claim the twitch donation was fraud.   Mako, at this time at least, has still not chosen to dispute any inaccuracies in these allegations, and is refusing to confirm or deny it, but sources close to him alleged to have screenshots of emails and message receipts saying this isn't the whole story and he has a far more defensible context for his actions.  

The server at whole is still awaiting a statement from Mako to confirm or deny the many many allegations regarding the situation, but hopefully, if he attempts to deny any elements of the story he is at least man enough to provide the message receipts and emails to prove this situation didn't play out as many are claiming it has.

Unfortunately, due to there not being a dispute made with the player you are trying to report, we are unable to process this report at this time. Note that in most cases, a dispute is required in order to seek administrative action against another party.

Note: Disputes can still be made on players that have disconnected and are no longer on the server. The player picker menu will showcase the last 140 players that were on the server & currently online players.

I with great regret have to inform the community that these allegations are true.

The socks were worth it.

 

On a real note though regarding behind the scenes on the server we literally have the best server architecture available to purchase. The issues regarding lag/crashing are actively being worked on however the issue isn't as simple as change 10 -> 20 or flip a switch. It is an invasive and complex problem that the Sr. Development are spending a considerable time trouble shooting and working on.
