I already had the cooler from before purchasing the cooler. As for performance, its up for debate in my opinion. Based on specs alone, the 8350 out performs the Intel using standard (non-turbo) settings, which I prefer to use. As for actual performance, I can't confirm or deny your claim as I've not used an equivalent Intel processor, my previous CPU was rather old prior to the upgrade. Newegg Compare Page

If you want to save yourself some money, you can also go with AMD for your motherboard and cpu. You lose SOME things with nVidia video cards, but nothing that you'll miss for the most part. Currently I can run most everything at 30+ frames on high, which is fine for me given the lower amount money I've invested over time.

With the release of our Altis Life version 7.02.01 we had a number of bugs come into play. With this Patch 1, the following issues will be resolved: APD .45 not tazing targets. APD Ghosthawk not texturing properly for Sergeants. R&R HEMTTs not texturing properly for Paramedics. The single addition which does not count as a "patch" is the addition of Diving Goggles for the APD, even if they'll never be used. The new files have already been pushed to the servers and will be available after the first restart after the posting of this entry. If any bugs, glitches or issues arise, please refer to the Ticket Report Info Thread and follow the instructions under the "Bug Report" section. Thank you for playing with Olympus Entertainment.

Update time is here lad and lass', As of now update 7.02.01 has been pushed to the servers and will go live (if it hasn't by the time you read this) on the next restart. This update in particular marks an important time in the Olympus community's development history as after hearing from the community, our founder Poseidon has found the trust needed to allow myself the ability to push updates to the live servers as they are needed. I'd like to thank both Poseidon for the trust that he is putting in me and thank the community for the support that I have received these past few days. The development team as a whole does work to get what we can to the servers in a timely fashion and now with this new ability, hopefully we will be able to get those patches and features fixed and added respectively for everyone to play with. All of that said, changes for 7.02.01 are more of a patch than anything else. Details can be found below: Medic SUV lights should no longer stay on the ground. APD have had their equipment changed: MXC has been removed from the APD. Patrol Officers have been granted access to the MX. Patrol Officers have been granted access to the Police vest previously restricted to Corporals and above. Uniforms for SGTs have been fixed. Pricing for the P07 has been corrected to $10 for all ranks. APD have had their vehicle allocations changed: APD Ghosthawk is now available to Sgts and above. APD Hellcats are now restricted to Dep. Chiefs and above. Any Sgt or Lt with a Hellcat need to sell the bird or risk having it removed without compensation. APD Striders are now available to Lts and above. Turtle selling was investigated both on local development environments and on the live servers, but no issues were determined. Please ensure that you are carrying turtles on you and are attempting to sell at the Turtle Dealer Southeast of Pyrgos. If you encounter a bug at any time, please report them via the Olympus Support System (http://olympus-entertainment.com/support/). Make sure to choose "Bug Report" for the Department.

Over the past few months, many rumors have been thrown around concerning the fabled "Olympus Entertainment Altis Life Remake," hereafter referred to as the remake. I am here today via our new blog system to formally announce that we at Olympus will be releasing a new, revised version of developer Tonic's role play mission, Altis Life. As I sit here typing this, Head Olympus Developer Poseidon is working diligently to set up a new working environment focused on the development of the remake. Once established, we will begin development in full swing and will, with any luck provide semi-regular development reports to keep the community informed on what they can expect going forward. We at Olympus Entertainment appreciate the patience that our player base has had with us over these past few months.
