Guys, apparently it's not VDM if you drive up straight in front of a already turning vehicle and it explodes, use this as a reference for your future endeavours:

he clearly turned to stop from getting ripped from the PO in the bush, cop took the risk getting that close knowing someone was decamped infront of him, i wouldnt consider the PO at fault here though only because he did not show any form of desyncing or pitting.

The officer was driving straight. Truck turned into the officer. It wasn’t on him.

The truck starts turning before the officer is near, the officer has arguably enough time to do literally anything to avoid the collision, for instance if he'd pressed x (handbrake) and turned to either side the collision would have not happened/been minimal but instead he does nothing and continues in high speed and straight forward and blocks the trucks path of travel giving the truck driver literally no time to react and act accordingly and thus blows up the truck. He does not break until he is literally in front of the truck which gives signs that his intentions were to block the trucks path of travel, which necessarily isn't a problem in itself the problem is that he doesn't give the truck driver enough time to react and therefore he causes the explosion. The driver of the truck has no knowledge of the approaching hatchback and is fully focused on turning to avoid getting ripped from the PO dropping in front of him meanwhile the officer in the hatchback has full view of the truck and the whole situation from around 200 meters away when he starts approaching it in high speed, imo it's on him to assess the situaton and approach in safe manner since he has full view of the whole situation when approaching.
Additionally, if we look at the positions of where both vehicles are at the point of collision the cop car is actually blocking the trucks path of travel. The cop car doesn't drive into the side of the HEMTT (then I'd agree that it's the HEMTT drivers fault). To my knowledge and in my experience from previous VDM situations I've been involved with it's allowed to block someones path of travel as long as they are given enough time to react and act accordingly and it doesn't cause an explosion.
Anyways it is what it is for now, but I'll make sure to go through the proper channels to get a fully unbiased verdict on the situation as I know for a fact that a few of the cop admins that have voiced their opinions in favor of the cop during this situation have ruled differently in similar situations in the past.
