How to get better frames?

Recommended Posts

So I haave i5 3570k 3.4ghz with an Asus trix gtx 970. I get shit frames even on the lowest setting for arma. Can someone help me out here. Like setting that can be set all the way down that reduce lag or somee shit. It really pisses me off that I spent so much on my rig and people who have lesser hardware get better frames.

I've got the same CPU and MSI GTX 970 4G, and my frames are 60+ outside cities and 40's or so in Towns and I have my settings the same as Lethals guide, posted a couple comments above.  I did change some things to very high and enabled shadows though.  I do have my CPU OC'd though to 4.7 Ghz and that helped me A LOT.  Might just need to do some overclocking.  Lots on videos on youtube if you're not comfortable to help if needed.

I7-6800k, GTX 1080, 32 Gigs of Ram

70+ Outside of City

40-60 Inside of City

Sometimes I drop to 30

its just Arma so no matter what, you will get frame drops occasionally. Also, I play at 4k
