It’s ur 970 most likely if not it’s arma being gay. Ur cpu doesn’t need to be overclocked as it will increase the difference in processing power which might affect arma or other games

I'm currently running a intel core I7-8700k. I get around 70 - 90 frames outside kav but when I enter kav I get around 50 - 60 fps.

I run an i5-7500k and a gtx 1080ti and I get 70 frames in kav lol

honestly get an i7. Arma used to be better on i5, but they optimized it for i7 last year or something. Runs a ton better than any i5

It's a really good CPU, and if you can push $40 more to get the i7-7700k it'll be even better. Also you should overclock you CPU when you get it.

Why go with 7th gen

that new  i5 and 1070 would be great for Arma. You'll be forced to get ddr4 which is better than what you're using. Another great thing to get is a ssd. Put windows and Arma on the ssd and you will be golden.

Hope your gonna get a new motherboard and ram since I'd imagine it will be a different chip set which only supports ddr4
