According to ex-members of the gang, Crook was disbanded due to the inactivity of their leaders.

Crook was disbanded due to leaders not wanting to play any more. In the final days of the gang leadership was granted to me and Jpeg but it was to late and Crook fell to the ashes as nothing more than a old memory.

Although everyone is correct that [CROOK] was disbanded, but it was quickly re-incarnated after a flushing of some members under the new name of

Most Wanted or [MW]

Yes and no.

 

 

Leaders gave "control" to and or someone acted like they controlled the gang, and was down hill from then on (mostly this). The "leaders" that founded crook never played (not so much this).

Crook was shut down when me and DjdannyD decided we don't want to run a gang on Arma3 when we don't even play it anymore.... This ended up being us giving leadership to JPEG and Dustin since we didn't really care where the gang went because we knew eventually we would disband it so after Dustin and JPEG had it for a few days me and Danny decided to shut down the gang and let others create there own if they wanted to play which now as you can see the ex Crook members now created MW so it's practically crook with a new name and some new players
