Medics and Redzones

For some reason I feel that lately in every fight in a redzone it seems as if the winner of the fight would be whoever got revived first, or whoever had more people to make sure the medic revived their team mates only. Why was it changed from the way it was, that way with the APD escort or being required to be a Sr. Medic worked well. Anyone else feel this way or is it just me? l

This rule is not going away.  Things wont always work out in your favor.  As was stated.  Kill the medic or try to take him or her hostage.

Remember, if we get killed in a red zone, new life rule applies and we cant go back to treat you or your team mates in need.

Personally, a warning through EMS emergency text ( this way we know you actually are in the area), would be enough to make me leave as I dont wanna be killed.

The way is see it is that it actually gives more of a realistic feature, yes we can be killed on sight in redzones, however a simple message leave or die is also good enough.. Also if there is no tactical adventage to stay around when your enemy is dead you can just leave the area or tell the medic to hang back until you and your friends have left

Giving a medic a heads up would be nice.  People will remember who kills them in red zones.  They are likely not to go back to get anyone if they get gunned down every time they go in.  So it goes both ways.

OK with all that being said, If a medic is killed in a redzone can they deny you services for the restart? This is probably somthing I have also see, kill a medic after they willingly enter redzone, then they deny the person that shoots them for going to revive an enemy.

  1. Denial Criteria:
    1. Trolling:
      1. Player(s) who sows discord on the server by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages to on duty R&R personnel in any form of communication with the deliberate intent of provoking those personnel into a negative emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic roleplay discussion and/or duty performance.
    2. Threats:
      1. Player(s) who have threatened to take R&R personnel hostage, have taken R&R personnel hostage or have threatened to inflict serious bodily harm to R&R personnel.
    3. False Requests:
      1. Player(s) who submit multiple (more than 2) EMS/Revive Requests and then leave the area/respawns/disconnects.
    4. Suspicious Circumstances:
      1. If you have reasonable suspicion to believe that the player is attempting to attain your services under false pretenses in order to take you hostage.

Id need muthinators clarification on this myself because if you killed us on sight you did not actually threaten us. (and RP wise how would we know who shot at us if it were not for the kill feed)

All I know is if it is in a redzone we are allowed to decide not to go since it could put our lives in danger ( that is not considered a denial of services)

If I had to create a force continuum, to demonstrate the seriousness of an action, I would probably put murder above assault...  As it states under threats " or have threatened to inflict serious bodily harm to R&R personnel".  If they kill you they have gone beyond assault(threats) straight to action.  To me that is justification to deny them service if you so choose.  The person does not have to kill you, they are choosing to.  You to have a choice.  You dont have to deny them, you are choosing to.  Quid pro quo in a sense.
