  3. Yikes. I left a kid like that 999m from a garage because he called me bad six letter word that starts with "n". Yeah, I got super excited when I saw that. lol

  5. @HaveASeatSir I'm sure everyone would agree that it really sucks to get a house or gang shed raided. Although that is a fair statement, you have to realize that many things in this game and particularly on this server can suck. Just because something sets you back a few million dollars, does not qualify it to be defined as overpowered or unfair. It is especially frustrating when it appears that APD was "camping" the property. I personally have wanted to introduce my skull to the inside of my bedroom wall after a few situations. After multiple defenses against APD waves, I saw the old | - Bots - | gang shed get raided for somewhere around 20 or 30m. I've gotten an AT off-road seized immediately after retrieving it from my garage through the gang shed. I've been tased by the APD right after spawning at the gang shed (which nobody else in the gang was near). It should be obvious how frustrating these situations were, but I don't share those stories to turn around and say that raiding houses should be removed. Think of it this way: the rules against combat storing do not include storing virtual or physical items in houses. If raiding was removed, players (especially larger gangs) would have the ability to hold off the cops long enough to store drugs, gold bars from federal reserve robberies, money bags, or whatever else. Then, the APD would totally be shit out of luck. Although I love the idea of all of my houses being totally raid-proof, I have to admit that it would just be unbalanced. After some of those frustrating situations happened, I probably said in discord: "fucking APD camping the shed again!". This usually is not the case though. I once saw an APD officer camping in a 4-crater by one of our properties, but that is the only time that I have ever had proof of actually camping. Most of the time, my own lack of luck or tunnel vision was the cause of my property getting raided. Out of the numerous occurrences of something getting raided or searched, they couldn't have been camping - I just had bad luck. Additionally, because of the gang you are in, most of the time, the APD knows exactly what you do to make money. I often see them come flying down the MSR after checking DP22, passing by the gang shed slowly, shooting down to moonshine processor, and crossing through DP24 and DP25 on their way back up to the MSR. They have their route, and the chances that they will see or hear you in one of those towns is high. You just have to be careful. I don't have access to any footage of you actually finding APD literally camping, so I am going to assume that you were the victim of a patrol such as this. As stated by @Unjo, if APD is actually camping your shed (and I mean literal camping), there are consequences that those officers could face - but this is assuming that the APD sitting at your property for however long and that you have some sort of indisputable evidence. Ironic to see you on this thread Unjo. My advice to you @HaveASeatSir, just understand what protocol the APD follow and what gives them probable cause to search your property. That's the best thing you can do to protect yourself. Other than that, invest in a house that is not easily scouted from high-APD-traffic routes. If not that, invest in multiple houses to spread your processed drugs at. The later is better because you will take less of a loss if you do end up getting caught.
  6. Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13 I think. I still have to re-download it, my hard drive got bricked just 2 weeks ago. It cost me like 100 bucks, but it's really good. It's a great alternative to really expensive software that run around 300 bucks. It does everything you need though. Far better than anything else I've used.
  7. Imagine playing server 2.
  8. This is on server 1, correct?
  9. I see. Dude, yeah. I'd probs kms. Yeah, I wouldn't really know. I've barley played on it. Last time I actually played on it was like 6 months ago. It seemed that there were more gangs doing robbing than anything else, at least at that time.
  10. Oh yeah, I forgot about the bait cars. Are they really used that much? I don't think I've encountered them at all actually. I don't think so. You'll know who APD is. I mean, this is some of the most fun I've had on Altis Life, with my gang. I think it's really just personal opinion. My experience on Olympus with 501st, Bots, and Noble has been really good (not BOTS actually xD lol). There are maybe not as many big gangs as before, but there are plenty enough still active and working.
  11. No, there is no undercover APD mechanic like on Asylum. Any APD officer you see will have a clear blue name, while civs only have white names (green if they're in your gang). Some senior APD have unmarked vehicles, but they still have the blue names.
  12. It seems to me that maybe the best thing about Olympus is the larger player base. If someone tells you that cartel life is withering away, they're not wrong. I would argue that gang life is fine though. Maybe not at it's peak, but doing well enough. Updates are still coming out regularly, we're currently working on Civilian Council to propose ideas that fix things and/or make life better for the players rather than adding brand new things (although, we have those cool new ideas on hold for later). Most people would not argue that there are some problems with APD, but those opinions seem to vary - I think I've seen a lot of effort to balance APD and Civilians recently though. I would recommend Olympus, and I was originally an Asylum player. If you're here for the roleplay, I wouldn't recommend Olympus though. lol
  13. Assuming it comes w/ fully upgraded oil storage? @Falco420

Requirements to be considered for an interview have changed.

    1. You must be mature. Excessive toxicity and/or trolling is not tolerated.
    - This is mainly decided during Trial/Recruit phase.

    2. Provide proof of 650 or more hours played on Arma 3.
    - These hours can be shared between your main account and one other alternate account that you use.

    3. You must have 350 of more hours played on the Olympus servers.
    - At least 350 total hours between all three factions on the server (civilian, medic, APD)
    - Half of those hours may be from another similar Arma 3 Altis Life server, this is at our discretion

    - Be ready to provide proof of your hours from those other servers.

    4. Be financially stable on Olympus Server 1.
    - You will be expected to always use a full rebel loadout while playing with Noble.
    - We only play on server 1. You must be willing to play on server 1 exclusively.

    5. Strong knowledge of the server rules.
    - You need to understand the mechanics of the server.
    - Know where things are located on the map.

    - We do not have the time to teach everyone the entire handbook.

    6. Able and willing to use Discord and keep comms when needed.
    - We do not tolerate any screaming or constant bitching.
    - If you can't communicate clearly and efficiently, you will be removed during your Recruit phase.
