Oh.... My bad. I know what you mean. I agree some APD officers need to take a much deeper training course. I try and instruct them as much as possible but only play on the evenings and weekends so I can't keep an eye on their progress.

Entering a red zone still requires permission unless you are a hostage. Zipties are not required for YOU to accept being a hostage, you may accept their attempt of taking you hostage w/out a gun if you wish, especially if it is well RPed. That said, I'm locking this thread down. The issues have been aired, fingers have been pointed and the issues have been resolved.

As stated, while the rule states in plain text "Responders may be taken hostage by an armed civilian when the following criteria has been met: The civilian has restrained the responder.", it is general knowledge that it is as the discretion of each medic on whether or not they wish to enforce the rule while they are on-duty. In most cases, medics will simply roleplay the situation even if zipties are not utilized, however (and I have done this multiple times), in situations where players have been abusive, trollish or otherwise disagreeable, I'll require they utilize zipties. All that said, a public finger pointing was not the best method to handle this situation Fluffy.

#server3comeback Server 3 coming back?

The odds of us bringing back server 3 are fairly low at the moment. While we have been increasing in our numbers, as I sit here typing this, there are 25 or less players on either server. Starting up a third server would more likely cause more harm than good as people would spread out more, lowering individual server populations and lowering our visibility to new players. -
