You know how much I love my bombs. When I came back they were broken and kicking you offline. I played and farmed for a couple months waiting for a fix, and they fixed it... but in the same patch put out a new item for 10k that deletes all bombs with infinite uses, beeps if youre anywhere near one, gives you a full radar of all bombs in your area like grinder but for guys that are too gay for grindr. I was told wait until after the holidays and we'll discuss 'possibly' nerfing it to an appropriate level and if I kept discussing it I could be removed from CC. I waited patiently, didn't bring it up, and it finally starts getting mentioned and the nerfs that were being pitched were so horribly understated it was clear they had no intentions of actually fixing it. Only love I still had for the game was in bombs, and they've been nerfed to the point that it's just throwing money away so people can delete millions of dollars for something that costs a coupel redgull so I peaced out. And 1000 twats who have no idea how reactive statistics work keep saying 'nobodys even buying them' willfully ignoring that fact that nobody is buying them because nobody is buying bombs anymore because those exist. I tried to talk to several staff members about it. Mako said he doesn't give a fuck about bombs and kicked me out of a channel when I hadn't even brought it up. It's Mako's server, and their right to those decisions. People who actively use them are a small subsect of the community, and it's a subsect they decided the server would be better without. Ultimately it all boiled down to one guy getting really butthurt cause he got exploded once and absusing his position on CC to push a gamebreaking item to stop anyone from ever using bombs again. Then milo getting the ticket to make said item and for no reason nobody on the server asked for, decided to make it even more gamebreaking by adding beeping and an insane range to it and put it up for only 10k. Then when it came time for people who double check these things to do their job, they were all too checked out to care or take 10 seconds to think about how gamebreaking it was, and with zahzi gone, the normal failsafe in these situations, it got through. Then when Milo released it, he'd put so much work into making the piece of gamebreaking garbage he was unwilling to roll it back or have an honest discussion about how broken it was and was suggesting nerfs like a slight price increase on something that shouldn't have been in the game in the first place. Got a new PC coming in 2 days too. Probably for the best. If I released a sovtage with frames it would break everyones immersion.
