Theres at least 6 that only have it because of who their friends are and are completely useless.

I used to think that till I started watching the metrics. Unitonically yes. New players every day. Just gotta keep em. Getting rid of aids staff members would be a good start to that

Sounds worse than it is. They are clearly allowed to play on your Minecraft server. They can do tickets while their iron cooks (Joke) Telling staff they can't play is a weak take. It is. Completely predictably. Just because you've grown bored with arma doesnt mean everyone else have. I've seen the server way lower pop average than the current multiple times.

Ngl...server pop is not dying. This is a completely predictable population dip that should normally bounce back but there is a handful of staff that deadass feels like they want the server to die and are trying to speed the process up.

I really dont want to. They just broke the only part of the game that I truly enjoy. I logged in the other day trying to play and just stood there for 5 min. It's boring. They basically gave a bomb admin panel to the whole server and wont admit it because Jay and mako failed to oversee it So now if they roll it back, Jay and mako have to admit they approved something broken so now they gotta pretend they peed their pants on purpose.

Yeah honestly that's probably the smart play here. I've talked to several staff who fully agree with me 100%. Even grandma gary had some notes. But the official stance from mako is 'i dont give a fuck about bombs' so I'm never hopeful of this server ever being what it was to me. Been thinking ill probably do it as a raffle tho.

Taking a break till next patch while staff figure out if theyre going to fix this thing or not with this broken defuser situation, or just leave it in the game. It's not fun for me with explosives being 100% nerfed to death like that. If it's the direction they wanna go so be it, but games boring af to me like that. If anyone spots any interesting 5c hmu, and ill check it out and give you a finders fee if I get a hold of it because of you in case they decide to fix the game. If not ill pop on and give my cash away to everyone who wasnt a dickbag next patch.

Make it adv rebel only and consumable, at about 50k per pop. That'd actually be some balance.

There was no balance considered. It was just "Here.. have some immunity. Its almost free."

I think money/advanced features are kind of stupid ways to balance things, cuz you can just buy them on your alt then transfer them to your main. I think balancing by virtual weight (like imagine an item with 50 virtual weight), or making its physical weight takes up the entire bergen (idk if that's possible to modify on oly?) could make sense and be interesting balance choices. There isn't a way to get around that by having, say, a billion dollars. It's a hard limit on your loadout, like how the mk1 can't go in the backpack so your forced to consider that when trying to avoid PC.
I think looking an potential new/overlooked balance factors would be good for olympus. I don't think anyone really wants the "sharpshooter" trait or the "explosives" perk or anything like that, but having high weight items might let us eat our cake and have it too.
Like imagine a radar item that can detect aerial vehicles, but if you use it you can't use redgull for 5 minutes. There are tons of potential creative nerfs that would allow for a wider variety of unique interactions.
