Start with something small like copper and/or salt. You'll make it eventually. Don't give up, it's tough out there. Pair up with someone when doing runs. When someone yells at you " Hands up or die '' actually do it and see what comes out of it. Who knows, they might actually RP. Get cops to escort you. I know some that do that. I know I do when I play . Altis life servers are usually all combat based RP. Bias aside, this is the BEST one out there.
