i have it clipped of mako even saying it was "working the first update" but "somehow it was fucked up the second update"

its 100% at dev fault that they didnt release a 100% working update, it just shows that we got half assers as a dev team

    + a whole 600lb furry as a com manager

LOL this actually made me laugh!

You know what else I can't believe?

Call of duty has bugs, including game breaking ones, with a BILLION dollar budget to develop a game over the course of several years.

Its just insane to me that the olympus devs would allow a bug to enter this server while juggling school and full time jobs that actually pay bills!

    Blasphemy!!

To be proud to be a dev on here is like being proud to be a McDonald's employee.

Funny because 90%+ of the Devs make a higher salary CURRENTLY then you will ever make. Don't make fun of McDonalds workers just because you're making big bucks over there at Burger King.

Your not smart at all. Your saying they should be able to use as much force to stop it since you get paid a lot for winning. First I'm gonna say usually the best cut you gonna get from a fed with getting both trucks out it around 2mil, Next your saying there should be 20 cops vs 7 civs, That would mean at least each person would have to get 2 kills if not more per wave and that's including hunters and striders that you have to deal with slamming dome every wave. I know what you gonna say, "JuSt BrInG mOrE pEopLe' Yeah lets do that so we each get 800k each for a laggy event because there is a 20v20 going on in a server that cant handle that 80% of the time. Actual braindead PO

"$51,546 has been added to your bank account because the federal reserve bomb has been defused by Police | Iceman"

Civs make way more money than cops for completing federal events successfully. The average non lethal cop maybe makes 100-200k for an event (if cops win.) The average lethal loader makes... maybe 200-500k? Sometimes I make more, sometimes less. Definitely doesn't cover the insurance for 6 hunters that get blown up or taken to chop shop though.  With fed blow rate/winrate as high as it is, Civs are generating much more money into the economy via feds than Cops are.

Your argument is flawed in almost every sentence. I think people assume that its fun to play dying simulator for 30 minutes 2-3 times a restart? Do you think it is fun for anyone to slam a fed in paper hatchbacks 47 times? You do realize if you take all of the fun from cops, they will stop playing: Then you wont even be able to meet the 5 cops minimum to start a fed.

Noone is saying its a good idea to stack 20 people on 6 Civs doing a Fed, however, it should not be even numbers in no way, shape, or form. 2-1 ratio is not even ridiculous in itself. Half of the cops or more have T1-2 and Sting/MX with tasers only.

@ YakGod  @ Iceman  Recently I've just experienced a high number of lethals. I've been lethaled while tased, lethaled after first death at bank, lethaled out in the middle field during a little fight all in the same day. I know false lethals happen but the fact its been ramped up as much as it has in the last week is annoying. Im sure some of the lethals have been false but the second I report it, it will be denied or they will get a slap on the wrist.

Lethaled while tased does happen. If its over 3-5 seconds after tased, send a dispute and Im sure anyone corporal+ would be happy to comp you or epi you as sometimes it is hard to tell. If it is before 3 seconds, most likely they were also shooting at you and its very hard to stop until that mag is finished.

Lethaled after first death at bank - A lot of times at bank, we will epi someone on first wave so they can die again and give lethals first wave.

Lethaled in middle of field - Are you sure you are not engaging in an active situation where lethals are already loaded? Thats the most common thing I get disputed for is when someone joins and active situation with a gun out and gets lethaled right away.

Also what the fuck is up with lethals recently.

    Explain?

Also as for the RP, I get what your saying, but personally I think so many cops are used to be trolled or screamed at that its come to the point of just get it over with. Why would I enjoy processing you if when I seize your illegal gear even though "Its my grandpapi's from WW2" I get screamed at and cursed out?

I do get your point though, I always try to encourage people to RP at least a little instead of robocop. However, at some point I dont want to listen to a story of how you have 18 manslaughters, 6 Kidnapping Govt official, and 12 kidnappings and want to explain every charge.

Unfortunately roleplay is just dying off rapidly again.  We had a resurgence where it came back for a while and cops started chilling out and it stopped being just about money, but now it's basically just cartel fighters with free kits again.  Some of these newer cops aren't being weeded  out and/or mentored as they should.

I understand where you are coming from, however, I disagree with you on 1 thing. Being "chill" and not "just about the money" is where I feel personally things started to get too relaxed. Its gotten to a point where people EXPECT to keep their illegal guns for paying a wimpy 100k ticket. Thats not how it should be. This isnt Chicago. You cant shoot at cops, get caught, and get released like nothing happened. We also do not get anything for seizing your weapon or clothing. Its part of the game, when you buy an illegal weapon you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of losing that weapon when you get processed.

Personally, I mentor people TO seize illegal guns unless certain circumstances. It should not be up to deputies and POs under normal circumstances unless they are the highest ranking officers online to decide whether people keep ILLEGAL guns when our job in roleplay terms is to keep the island safe. MK1s arnt safe.

  7. It would be way too hard to enforce. APD has to open brief cases in order to seize illegal items like lockpicks or drugs. Its hard enough to line up your squad of Po's and deputies for an honorary Cup check and SDAR pat-down. There would be no way to prove their Y inventories without administrative help, log searching, or Dev work to prove the cop took the EpiPen off your body instead of buying it from the shop as normal.
