Bow 787
Probably nothing more than ~10 fps I bet. ArmA is a CPU intensive game, if you want more fps then you need a high end CPU. 1 Quote Link to comment
Admin Bubbaloo - Reusable P Cup 3031 Posted August 22, 2017 Admin Report Share Posted August 22, 2017 I have 2 gtx 980 and had to disable SLI to get a boost in performance. I know, logic. Arma is a dumbass. 1 Quote Link to comment

LongInactiveAccount 432
I went from a 960 to a 1080 and in all honesty my fps only increased by like fucking 5 1 Quote Link to comment
Wong the Wong 6
a good tip is to turn off v sync.Made a tremendous impact on my game ever since.Setting things like shadows to low also helps. Quote Link to comment
JaredPK 67
Arma is cpu intensive, NOT gpu. I would expect sub 5 fps gain from that switch. As stated you'll need a cpu upgrade to make a noticeable difference. Quote Link to comment

Just because its a CPU intensive game doesn't mean a big upgrade to other parts will make next to no difference. I had a 760, no SSD, with 16gb ram and an i7-4790k and got around 60 on medium to high. Now i have a 1070 OC, 32gb ram, SSD and the same processor and get around 80 - 100 on very high while fighting cartels. Makes a big difference. 1 Quote Link to comment

Superiorr 466
Putting arma on a ssd helps so much with stuttering/freezing but if you really want a fps boost overclock that i7 Quote Link to comment

I had to overclock by 800mhz to offset this assault. #UnleashtheKraken 1 Quote Link to comment

But i mean if you want to there is plenty of tutorials on yt Quote Link to comment
Taylor 3
Arma is a CPU intensive game that prioritizes single threads, if you can OC then you'll notice quite a drastic performance. Quote Link to comment
