Thomas 671
just a couple of scenarios about meta gaming that you guys can help me out with if a medic gets a request from someone with a high bounty is it meta gaming if they tell the cops hey grandpasquid needs a revive why don't you come with me to arrest him. also I have seen when someone was on civ and we started a fed rob they switched over to cop so they can help the cops. everyone said it was meta gaming but I don't feel it was since the person didn't have any inside info about our positions. Lethals Loaded 1224
Cop to Civ needs to wait 15 minutes, unless he switches server or it restarts 1 Quote Link to comment
Dustin87 864
Yes thomas this is exactly how it is defined in the rules. Its still meta gaming that the cop did that because he still had knowlege that we were doing a fed regardless even if he new our tactic/postion. Kinda dumb but its just the way it is. Tman15tmb 1827
if a medic gets a request from someone with a high bounty is it meta gaming if they tell the cops hey grandpasquid needs a revive why don't you come with me to arrest him. Depends on the situation. If a medic gets a revive request in a redzone and needs an APD escort to go in then it is not considered meta gaming if the officer decides to help out the medic. I didn't think it would be meta gaming since it tells the whole server that a fed robbery is happening Quote Link to comment

Warfare 498
That does not exist Figured so. The only thing I have ever been told in regards to switching from civ to cop is don't get involved if you know about the current situation. However it's not a rule and nor is the 15 min one. To answer your first question: If an R&R member recognizes a wanted criminal they are allowed to text the police and inform them of the location, whether or not they need a revive. This also means that the R&R member could inform wanted criminals that the APD are on the way. From my past experiences medics tend to stay neutral in situations like this. Second question was already answered Quote Link to comment
Odin 1073
It is generally suggested that the name of those whom require a revive is kept confidential. This is not a requirement though. 1 Quote Link to comment

Muthinator 3064
Like John said, it is suggested but not required; however, would you want to be the one waiting on the other end of that ambush? Quote Link to comment
