Not the first time this has happened either. An Admin/Captain proudly said he has done this 9 times now.

Which is literally crazy considering it’s rule skirting to the max but it’s apd so it’s okay to skirt rules

Here’s a genius plan, use your brain a little more.

Take control of the jail, hack the AA, fly in and pick them up!

All NYPD want is an easy one life ambush on the APD and then bitches and moans when someone finally uses their brains to prevent a 100% lose rate with people in custody!

Start an event to unrestrain a naked black man with a p07 is crazy work

@ Big Boss Fredo  hacking the AA does not start the event. You would need a blasting charge to start it. Again you all complain about this yet ABUSE and ABUSE the vigilante license and PO7. Honestly your gang has no room to talk about “rule skirting”

I don't really care to get involved, but just going to throw this out there - this was not designed with the intention of effectively being a 'safe zone' for the APD to process in. Everywhere else is generally fine due to it being accessible via ground, this section being only accessible via air vehicles was an oversight.

  1. APD may not enter the domes prior to the event unless someone is trapped inside

^ That is an APD handbook rule under the federal events section. This rule applies to Fed, BW, & Jail. The issue with Jail is it has had map design reworks that have added an exterior "courtyard" for the prisoners that previously did not exist. The courtyard is still a part of the "jailed" area of the Jail. It is a simple oversight that should be corrected that occurred when map designers changed it from just the dome.

The issue is that the only way for Civilians to escape the area that Brandyn & Saltiez landed in is the only escape for civilians is either planting the bomb or hacking the AA. This ultimately is either forcing a civilian to start a federal event (which the APD should never instigate them to do) or hack the AA. To do either of those things they would have to carry either a hacking terminal or bomb on them, and if not they would have to travel 2+Km to the nearest black market and retrieve it from there.

That would make the minimum retrieval time of the person in restraints 3 minutes (if they had the hacking terminal on them) and if not all the extra time on top of that to go and retrieve one.

This is an unintended feature that should be corrected.

YEAHHHHHHHHHH FUCK THEM UP MILLENNIUM

Prison should just be made offlimits to processing civs entirely, ontop of this situation which is blatant exploitation and should be handled accordingly, but  the Prison also has AA cover that cops can fly freely thru  but civs cannot.  Its become a precedent that when apd is getting hounded especially by air vehicles to run and hide in the Prison.

I mean realistically it is just not intended game play mechanics.

  1. Civilians cannot get inside via a natural means like a door or gate.
  2. Civilians cannot land a helicopter inside without being shot down from AA.
    1. They would have to plant a blasting charge which the majority of civilians likely won't have on them.
  3. Civilians could use a van to jump over but would have no way of getting out or freeing the player in restraints.

From my understanding no one involved on the APD was banned for this and @ Zeuse  said- he does intend on fixing this issue.

Also for what it is worth- at least one SAPD admin has condemned this as an unintended and broken game-play mechanic and agreed it needed fixed.

No foul on either side since it was generally unprecedented but just something that needs to be fixed.

I was there when it happened and was told it was perfectly within the rules (maybe not perfectly). I thought at the time it was an oversight because things aren't usually turned in favor of the APD.

Should 100% be changed
