Well, after 3.5k hours, 0 bans, and being active staff, it seems that the powers that be have decided it's time for my time here to come to a close. For those wondering what happened, I was testing to see if an exploit reported to us by my gang was actually being abused based on some symptoms they'd reported to me. Accidentally missed the last item when deleting them, stored it, and it sat in a garage untouched until one of my gang members found it, reported it, and since nobody in the gang thought it was there's (including me), reported it to find out what to do. This resulted in my first ban (14 day), removal from staff, and wiping my account. It's a bummer to pour my heart, soul, 1.6 YEARS worth of a full-time job in-game (+ development time outside of the servers) in to something only to be gone like this. I've definitely learned to make sure to only invest time in to things that you think have a mature and fair managerial setup. Just remember that once someone in power here wants ya out, it's only a matter of time until they're able to find a way to make it happen. But, we won't focus on the end for now, since talking shit about the retarded way I was shoved out the door wouldn't do justice to the wonderful times I did have. I'm just saying that if you think APD reactions to processors / etc. against most gangs on the server isn't balanced by RP, then you're kinda simple.
