  1. The main reason why the rule was added, was because people were constantly ditching their vehicles into water to prevent being robbed/arrested. Which didn't make interactions very enjoyable.
  2. Additional clothing for civilians would be cool, however the size of the mission file was limited the amount of clothes on the server and this may still be the case. Maybe we'll see some more clothes in the future, maybe we won't. I'm guessing that you guys are requesting custom clothing? Because the vast majority of Arma3's civilian/military clothing is already in Olympus.
  3. Never said that civs having the MK1 would make you guys OP. If the MK1 is given to civs, APD would have to find a new weapon for Senior APD. If the weapon was for both civ and cop it would mean that they could have an illegal weapon, or an APD weapon depending on how they obtained the weapon. You guys have already got multiple 7.62 rifles, so I personally can't see you receiving another.
  4. Please send me a private message on the forums if you need APD tags/access to the APD section of the forums. I'll make sure we've got your correct forum name in the Senior APD's system. I'll also pass your name up to Hades for the addition of your tag.

  5. The addition of the MK1 for the Senior APD was based on the fact that APD needed a boost to help fight against rebels. Civilians have the advantage the majority of the time, i.e: numbers, positioning(usually playing defense), officers are required to make the first move by announcing themselves(thus revealing position), vehicle strength, vehicle selection, firepower. Civilians already have access to various 7.62mm rifles, Senior APD received the MK1 to help balance this. I know you guys aren't going to like this, but civilians are not going to get the MK1.
  6. Marked you down in Senior APD's sheet that you're going to be absent for an unknown amount of time. Once again, best of luck to you!
  7. Best of luck to you, hopefully everything works out okay.

  12. Sad to see you go, had some awesome times together. Stay classy Bill best of luck to you! Remember, I'm only a ferry ride away!!
  13. Sad to see you step down, however I'm also excited that the APD will now have your full attention.
  14. Medics are free to respawn, when doing this they are exempt from NLR. Medics have NLR when they're killed in situations such as these: Bob tells Medic not to revive dead person. Medic revives dead person, Bob kills Medic. Medic cannot return to the area for 15 minutes.Dead person requests Medical aid within an illegal zone, Medic enters the area. Bob kills Medic. Medic cannot return to the area for 15 minutes.
  15. It's awesome to see that everyone is enjoying this week's issue!
  16. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  17. KOTH Infantry would be preferred in my opinion.
  18. If you feel the need to check someone's license plates on their vehicle, go ahead. There are also lots of other ways you can pull people over within roleplay. Examples: Passengers in the back of off-roads not wearing seatbelts, tail light out etc. Just keep in mind that pulling everyone over that you see isn't always going to be the best use of your time.
  19. Why did they have probable cause to search the registration of the vehicle?: The officers went to have a friendly chat with the driver of the suv to see if everything was alright as the driver slammed on the horn as he drove past. Checking the registration on a vehicle is the same as running the vehicle's plates through the APD system. The driver did not do anything wrong, had not broken any laws from what I can see (honking horn is not wreckless driving): Correct honking isn't wreckless driving, however the driver of the suv did act with slight suspicion/cause for concern ie: honking on the horn then pulling off behind a building. Honking could technically be considered disturbing the peace, but only if the situation goes to the extreme which never happens with honking. Instead the charge of disturbing the peace is reserved for players playing music through their microphones as well as mass unlocking/locking of vehicles. Does registration search not require any probable cause?: Checking the registration on a vehicle is the same as running the vehicle's plates through the APD system.
