Haven't played one time since the update and seen the server NOT crash... with at least 2 hours left in the session. Not even exaggerating, every single time. Idk if this is Arma or the server but its quite drastic and needs to be addressed...otherwise it is sort of unplayable.

s1 lasted till 32 minutes left when it crashed today. So it's getting better I think.

Ace, Although I'm sad to see you step down from Chief of Police, you will remain awesome no matter what role you take on!! Grandma Gary is a great successor by the way and I'm stoked for the future. I wish you best of luck in the future man! I'll be tuning into your stream more often and even looking forward to meeting you on civilian or something down the road ^.^

Just wanted to say that this new chain of command is awesome. Getting over being sick today, couldn't say this earlier, but I agree with this change 100%. It gives the APD a very nice rank structure and sense of pride that was missing. I can't wait to see the roleplay and updates that come because of this. I really hope it works out! ECHO!

Earlier today I pardoned someone almost 200k in Kavala who asked for a higher up, explained every single one of his charges (LEGIT stories - not lame repetitive bullshit) saying his wife was like cheating on him and that he was depressed and that jail would literally render his life meaningless and shit. It was amazing RP and he actually did have a reason and a story behind the charges like it was a dramatic tale of hardship lol. I made him and his friend both drive to the church by the Kavala air garage to repent for their sins and vow to turn their life around. My point is, when you say it is impossible to RP your way out of a ticket, you are wrong Yes you can get pulled over, just like real cops it's their job, remember that. They enforce the law and check people for warrants. Instead of quoting rules try being calm, civilized and creative, and you may find there are some great times to be had. Yes, even when you're being arrested.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps SteamApps -> common -> Arma 3 (your arma 3 directory in steam basically) find a folder called "Dll" - remove/delete this file. When there was an Arma3 patch it reappeared in my directory so I'm pretty sure you have to delete it every time there is a patch. Apparently it is used for optimizing Arma3 or something, idk. Ok, when I deleted it, it stops my memory errors - or at least now I get them very rarely. sidenote: if you don't want to unintentionally break your game by deleting a folder, just move it. When I was trying this, all I did was move the folder out of the directory (to my desktop for example that way I could put it right back in if the memory error problem wasn't fixed). Turns out it did fix it though, so the Dll folder just kinda sits in my recycle bin for a rainy day I guess xD Hope this helps, if not, Sorry :/ might be another issue.

Tonight on APD consisted of a fight against PcP in Kavala (win), a hostage scenario takedown (win+salty kids), a successful fed (win-sidenote:randoms shouldn't do feds...), a successful jailbreak takedown (win, rekt by jail training skills), and lastly an actual fed with [TI]+[MC]+friends (win for BOTH sides because it was a blast all the way until restart!) GG all.

Olympus servers showing up with a red X after an update for Arma3 I downloaded this morning. This just means Poseidon needs to update the server itself right? Never experienced this before.

have you been playing the exile mod?? if so you need to untick it in mods in the launcher that only happens to me if exile mod is active

Played Exile for like 15 minutes with Fastik before server went down. We owned Kavala square. OLYMPUS UNITE, WE SHOULD ALL MAKE ONE BIG GANG AND DOMINATE EXILE ACROSS THE BOARD JUST SAYING.
