Really depends on what you are doing; for things like this, it's awesome. For a more realistic flight model, it's pretty cool, but for combat landing and whatnot, it's significantly more difficult to do.

There is a maximum amount of power that your components need to draw as long as you need to draw less than your PSU's capacity, higher wattage isn't going to give more performance. Your current GPU, the 560 Ti, has a TDP of about 210W. The 1070 has a TDP of about 170W. As long as you have the right power connectors on your PSU, you should be fine ITO power. I would get the 1070; its performance is significantly better than the 970. This video has some benchmarks. If you can't wait for it to be available, do what Poseidon said. Considering the price will be roughly the same, there isn't really any reason that I can see to get the 970 instead of the 1070.

4690k and 970 run just fine. My build: Motherboard: Asus z97-a CPU: 4690k cooled with h100i OCed to 4.7 GPU: EVGA 970 with the ACX 2.0 cooler, also OCed RAM: 16 GB (cant recall from who rn) PSU: EVGA supernova G1 750W Also have 256GB SSD for boot and 1 TB HDD for files

TBH some kind of tip screen would probably be really helpful- just have the basic important rules in it and a link to the actual ones. I remember when I joined I just asked a friend if there was anything important I should know about in them... It took a ban a week or so later for me to actually go read them.
