You get it back after the destroyed shell is cleaned up. Poseidon increased clean up frequency so it should be a max of a few minutes.

No snow here. It snowed twice in the past two months but both times it melted within an hour or two

Once you get a car and a gun, I recommend hunting in the hunting grounds. The sheep, goats, hens, and roosters each give about 5k. All u gotta do is go there, find them, shoot them or run them over, go up to them, and press windows key, and then sell the meat in markets. It's good income and there's rarely anyone there.

A guy stole my taxi while i was restrained, refused to give it back, did drug runs with it, and claimed he was trying to help me by preventing someone else from stealing it. Quite an argument =)

He was new, it was my retarded friend, he was trying to do a weed run in it, I told him "DONT FUCK WITH TAXI MARTY, HE IS A BADASS." And he said no im doing a weed run! (This is his 3rd time on arma.. ever.) He is a dumbass, sorry about that. His name was Coopacarp.

More about the taxi thing: When sending a taxi request, it'd help the taxi if you told him or her where you're going and how much you're willing to pay. A fair price (based on package deliveries) is $1,500/km, although some may be cheaper and some may be more expensive. When you are waiting for a taxi, it's better that you do not move from the location from which you sent the request, because then by the time the taxi gets there they may have to look around for you. Also if you get picked up by a taxi, but you know that another one is already on its way, it's very helpful if you text that other taxi that you've already been picked up. If you are a taxi and receive a request, it's helpful to text back that you are picking them up and how long it might take, although you don't have to do this. Even if you can't pick them up it's good to let them know.
