Is Olympus Worth Coming Back To?

For a long time I have considered re-joining Olympus just for old time sake. For a bit of context, I have 1600 hours on Olympus and primarily played from the BW, MC era up to around the time Sho was a Lieutenant and Pledge was Chief of Police. I played in a gang called LC and we mostly made money, dicked around, fought with others, and took cartels here and there. The community was what made the server what it was tbh. I guess what I am getting at is if the server is nearly as active and if so, how is the community. Are most people ratting in Kavala or is it primarily cartel based? Do people still fight, or is it rare to find other people processing drugs and possibly get in hour long gun fights. Me and my friends are considering coming back and giving it one last go. Feel free to give it to me straight. Also how is the APD and R&R doing nowadays?

There's a variety of things still to do on Olympus, while the new conquest feature gives cartel fighters a unique new way to fight, the old ways of Olympus are still thriving. Scats still roam Kavala, cops are still being rats, runs are in the works of being buffed.....the server is still fun in my opinion, definitely should come back and try out the server again.

APD r absolute rats totally unfair to fight against tbh. Quite hard to find huge hour long fights unless its on cap. Hard to also find people doing drug runs rn, however i'd 100% give it a go, olympus is still fun asf my dude and community is also funny asf if that's what kept you here in the first place

Explain how people literally held a fed for 40+ mins the other day with like 10 to 15 people yet apd is unbalanced? Sorry to say man but apd is not unbalanced, you just played with some of the most shit gangs on the server and get fucked lul

Not even speaking on behalf of myself you apd bum. Newer gangs, newer players getting rolled up on trying to make a bitta kapulsha doing a wee run by a fucking ghawk loaded w cops??? Nevermind that, a new player or even just players with littlw money cant hold off a run for 40+ mins while trying to just get by?!?!?!? Fucking spaz.

The server is still really fun to play. 
R&R has more or less stayed the same and they’ve added a lot of practical and fun features.

ya its chill until you catch the cops breaking server so they have to pull in a server admin a couple retired staff like 4 support team members and they still cant find the so called rule they are "not breaking." at the end of the day the cops think they are actually good but in reality they are worse than bots and its easy kills.

Monks sucks APD dick like his life depends on it. I agree, most of the APD needs a big nerf, except for maybe the lower ranks. I get we’re a light rp server, but it doesn’t really feel like I’m a rebel faction with illegal gear when the APD has the same if not better equipment, guns, and vehicles than I do. Fuck the APD.

I expect to be rolled up on by  cops, me and a group of people know exactly what is happening, we are ready for it,infact we do it BECAUSE we want to fight them. We know cops are going to push us. Some rando Billy Joe doing his fuckin offroad truck run, that civs wouldn't even bother rolling up on, grtting rolled up on by 25mil blackwater level helis, 2.5mil blackwater level guns, 300k/700k blackwater level vests, suppressors, armed vechiles, armored vechiles, and they're the ones enforcing the law??? Nobody is there to seize that hunter, nobody is there to pull 2 armed planes and 3 hawks because "HOLY FUCK THATS AN APD HAWK EVERYONE GET READY TO FIGHT IT". Prefered it when you were a PO, you were in your place,now your just a fat, prepubesent peurto rican kid with an ego in a video game. Fuck off you fat bellend.

Yeah sure i get that, but don't blame the apd itself for that because many cops such as myself will not fuck with billys offroad run if he isn't a toxic fuck. There are certain APD members who are freaks and will do this, blame them, not APD.

All PO's and deps nowadays are in it for the money, and cause there is legit 0 money to be made on cop they will dl whatever the fuck will get them anything. Nevermind an offroad, a newer gang, which i often see all out with like spar 16s doing say 3tempest devices of coke. Ofc they're gonna fight the APD, why would they gamble the roleplay with terrible cops nowadays? Although newer players with spar 16s against 8 cops all with AT LEAST spar 16s, and hey? Say my 3 fine gents manage to pull a miracle and kill every cop, they will come back, again and again and again. Such a shame cause once APD catches a whiff of something illegal that they wanna "rob" THEY WILL GET IT.

im not really heated about the SUPER cheap gear you guys get or how you guys really think you're all that. what I'm mad about is how when the Rebels catch the cops breaking sever rules like @Mita did last night she gets her simp squad on like @rabid to come in there and say "only cops can hit other vehicles" but when i want to do it as a civ its VDM and they get away free as a bird. Cops have their own circle jerk and it’s disgusting to see how corrupt the APD is. Nothing will ever happen to them because they have server admins on their side in any case because all the mods and admins are cops. It’s why medic hasn’t been changed in fucking forever because the director is a mod. People complain about how slow and boring medic is and how it needs something new and fresh but it’s just ignored. All the attention goes to the APD.

Medic's in the past 3 months have gotten flare guns, firefighter uniforms, different assorts of helis, even a whole new fucking rank. What else do you want medics to have? Guns???

All of these are search and up. Doesn’t apply to a large majority of medics. That’s why you have so few, because people say fuck it before they even get to that point.
