Community Manager Introduction

Hello Everyone,

I’m thrilled to join the team, and it really is an honor to fulfill the position of Community Manager for Olympus. As your new Community Manager, my primary goal is to gather feedback and address the new player retention issues at this current time. I’ve had a few unanswered questions about what my duties entail within this role, I’ll provide a brief summary:

• Front facing PR Primary form of communication between staff and the community.
• RT management for CC Public Posts/Announcements.
• Giveaways/Raffles.
• General Inquiries.
• In-game Events/Informal events.
• Organization Moderation of TS/Discord/Forums.
• Think of new ideas to drive traffic.
• Think of ideas to help smaller groups of people/gangs that struggle to work their way up in the server economically and overall experience.

Over the couple weeks I look forward to speaking with many of you as I come to terms with the new role.

Well deserved! Excited to see what Walt does for the community and what new events will come. I still remember the impromptu event he held on the arms cartel and it was fun af. I've only seen good stuff come from Walt and can't wait to see more to come!

I've made it clear where I stand on this already.  One of the smartest moves OS has ever done.  Not much needs to be said.  

I know this is big boomer energy, and I am at peace with that... but the fact that a paragraph is enough words to send you kids in 2023 into borderline panic attacks means you kids definitely need to read more.

Doesn't change the fact he has the worst public reputation imaginable and by even existing as a leader in the community causes a detriment to the server.
