Well I should Update this to catch anyone who reads this up to date.
First off I joined Arma3 and the server back in late 2018. Was in the military at the time. I had to stop playing due to back to back deployments and Rotations.Got married and Had a son in 2021
Got Remarried in 2023 and got out of the military this year in 2024 and became a cop in my hometown! I look forward to coming back and hopping on the server again (My house expire over 1350 days ago and Forgot about it haha)
Traded in my Camo's for some Blues!!!
But Damn I look good in uniform.

Nah he was a PO. It’s pretty irrelevant but I just remembered it happening and I couldn’t tell if I could hear in game chat because no one was saying anything and then eventually he just started yelling the n word which confirmed I could hear him. Was funny though. Couldn’t think of his name though. He may not have been lispy I just think he was cuz he’s British (same thing)

As the election month approaches, people will get riled up and even down each other's throats at times. Things will get rough. Recent political posts have been fine and lets keep it that way. Regardless of our political views, we are all here for the same reason to, "hands up or die" each other (virtually). Not to hate each other for different political views. Enjoy your time here at Olympus and remember that we are a community that sticks together through pixels instead of separated by hate

It has been a while since I have done this, but feel free to comment on this status with any Gray areas that arent being addressed, rules that are being handled vastly differently per staff member, and general complaints/suggestions for staff (specifically administration)

Clarify in the rules if when engaging you have to say a consequence. I was once banned for RDM because my friend only told a guy “hands up” and I killed him(this was like 6 years ago). But I know some current staff say just “hands up” and pointing a weapon is good enough. I’m not saying I think it should be one way or the other, I really don’t care tbh, but just put it in the rules so it’s not up for interpretation. Especially in my case when I was banned it obviously wasn’t malicious just a misunderstanding and the banning admin made me wait my whole 3 days, when I think they should’ve taken intent into that decision.

I got to thinking earlier about ARMA 4 and when it is released if Oly is going to be moving over there or staying on ARMA 3. I've heard some conflicting information regarding this subject. who thinks we should go to ARMA 4 and who thinks it should stay on 3?
I personally don't think we should go to ARMA 4 right out the gate. Unless there is an ease of integration for what we're used to (I don't see that being possible)
