I am excited to announce (for a trial run) Grey area discussion! If you and your friends are unsure about a situation and or initiation feel free to jot it down to discuss in this Community wide meeting. Make sure to do your homework, as this is not meant to go over what is already in the rule book. This discussion should shed light on situational decisions, That could lead to rule breaks and or expose areas of the rules which are not written but understood and followed by many players. If you are confident in your knowledge of the rules already, I would challenge you to test your knowledge! If you are striving to become a support member, or just interested in understanding more about how to use the rules as a weapon, please feel free to sit in on the action. (as a disclaimer, not all answers to situations are guaranteed to be black and white. Hence, grey area.) This discussion will be held on Saturday, August 28th, at 7pm est and will last roughly 30 mins no longer than an hour. Will be held in the Olympus Official Discord. Be there and be square!

All you need to do to make sure your ideas are getting into the server is to be able to present your case and back it up with a few facts, show how those changes will help new players, and how they can help people like you. All the people who spam toxic shit are just trolling.

The huge update that just rolled out has to be bringing in alot of money for the sever already. Monthly subscriptions are proven to work well as displayed in all corners of media for more than a decade now. I know that skins arent the end all be all of update content but its definitly something that people have been, and will continue to be excited for. A media team with editing knowledge and someone to guide them on topics to focus on. Mainly probably different runs, how the market works, and how cartels work just to name a few. Could be something that the newer people in the community could really benefit off of sense all of that information is usually something that has to be explained over and over to new people. I feel like new players are taught runs to be the only way to make money when really, People that come from FPS games would definitely benefit more with being taught how cartels work and how much money they really make over a period of time.

as said above sadly it dosent have the same outreach that it did 3 years ago and especcially not compared to 2015-2016. Its an old game. Its nice to think that wel be able to bring in more players but my personal opinion, the majority of people see this game as a military simulator and this is such a small part of a slowly decreasing population of a game. Some people dont get to see this community hidden by behind the curtains of content creators like operatordrewski or nano who show the game in a completely different way (closer to how the game was intended to be played). Its also a nice thought to be able to be able to make content out of the situations that we run into but none of it is even really roleplay anymore. Its all gunplay and shenanigans witch is great but wont serve well to an audience who doesn't understand anything about the server. All in all, more players would be great, but new players arent exactly treated with respect as a new guest should, there treated as just another player to be robbed or murdered and get on with their game play when in reality could make or break their opinion of the server and weather or not to recommend it to their friends. This is turning out to be a longer post than what i thought but teaching new players and catching them up to speed on metas and common tactics is more work than reward at this point for players on the server.

The spar16-s with 150's is one of my favorites as of latley. It has almost 0 recoil at the cost of not having super great penn but the fire rate makes up for it imo. For rebel would definitly go for the Mk1 just because of the stopping power of 7.62, will definitely have to give the ak12 a shot considering its 7.62 with 10 extra rounds and a higher fire rate than the mk1...... I used to run eco kits with the promet mr as my all time fav. It has the pen of an mx with a recoil in between a spar and an mx, and its 6.5.

You have ttv in your forum name. Just let that sink in. O7 from what Iv seen on the forums you have definitly changed capping cartels even if it’s only one cartel. It struck a huge debate that was more fun when viewed from the sidelines. Be sure to come back to at least say hey at least ingame.

this has probably been asked before. If you kill someone who you are engaged with and that person is tagged with other people obviously they share engagment but what if the guy you shoots gets resed. Can you shoot him on the spot because your still engaged as soon as he gets up. Ps. its given that there are other gang members that are shooting at you with the same tags as the guy getting up. hence why you would still be in engagment with the person who was downed.

Having more people crammed into one server rather than having people spread out not only is more interesting but its also better for the server economy. Having one server of 100 people attracts more police and medics for the sheer probability that a person will request revive or cops will run into someone doing a run or a federal event. Whereas having 3 servers of 30 people could possibly blow up the economy because players have less chance to run into someone during a run, Getting robbed either by cops or other civs. Best suggestion to make money would be to do runs that no one checks or cares about and take the beat of making less money per run, or find a group of people that is in the same situation as yourself. The second option can be tricky so it wouldn't be the worst idea to apply for cop or medic. Probably not the best answer as these options are pretty obvious but a solution none the less.
