Anyone have experience with the 14600k or similar for this game? Ram prices are fucked and I need a new cpu asap. Would either be good enough to at least reach like 60?

I told you to get the cpu instead of that gpu smh.
You should only get the ryzen 7 7800x3d or the 7 9800x3d.
you will have to dabble in ddr5 ram. At this point, depending on the cost of ram, you may be better off buying a prebuilt.

go to a microcenter and buy a bundle, you can get a x3d + mobo + 32gb ram for like $400-500

@ virus Unfortunatly I live like 4 hours away from the nearest one, but yeah I just checked and there are some solid bundles. Would definitely recommend people take advantage of it rn.
@ Millennium Yep you were 100% right, and as of now prebuilt prices are fucked as well. I definitely regret not picking up a x3d chip and DDR5 ram when I had the chance.

The combat on reforger is a little goofy and I'm not sure it would even work well in a life server style. Maybe with mods they can remove the inertia and fix the camera, but as of now it feels like a worse version of dayz, and just plays like ass in general compared to Arma 3.

If you really need a temporary fix you can just change your aspect ratio to 16:9 but they definitely should give exceptions to ultra wide players -

Cheaters will just afk for 10-20 hours. Hour requirements also don't work no matter how high cause they can just buy accounts that have the required hours.

Honestly I'm impressed with how you manage to play this game on such a shit pc. Not sure if it still works on s1 anymore but right click on arma --> properties than betas and select performance profiling might help with that lol. -

Had this issue with arma, siege and helldivers now. For arma I fixed it with a m.2 ssd, for siege I fixed it by updating to windows 11 and I still haven't fixed it for helldivers (pretty sure it's just the dogshit engine). This issue can happen for thousands of different reasons from a driver on a input device fucking up all the way to thermal throttling. Try these steps -Run the game on an m.2 ssd -Run the game as admin -Change your power plan to high performance or ultimate performance -Change your launch options to these: -system.cpu_priority high -high -gc.buffer 4096 -headlerp_inertia 1000 -graphics.branding 0 -effects.maxgibs -1 -window-mode exclusive -rate 144 -client.headlerp 10 -player.eye_blinking false -player.eye_movement false -Right click on the game > Properties > Controller > Disable steam input -Cap your fps to 60 (uncap if it still happens) -Make sure your page file is on an ssd -Make sure it's not a temperature issue -Update windows and if all else fails update to windows 11
