Kamikaze 1178
I took out my graphics card and cleaned it put it back in and my computer won't boot with the graphics card in, if i plug my monitor into my motherboard the computer will boot with the integrated graphics but i obviously can't play any games off of that, i've tried taking it out putting it back in booting into safe mode taking 1 ram stick out double checking my psu nothing seems to work out. Is there any way to fix my graphics card or do have to buy a new one. Any help is greatly appreciated. If anyone can fix my problem you will get 3m + Any warpoint item you want. What is the wattage on your PSU? When you took it out/put it in was there any unusual pressure that you had to put on the card or motherboard? Quote Link to comment
iPopsicle 2205
Does it just not boot period? Try uninstalling the graphics card driver then plug the card back in and see if that does anything. Also I have a FX8350 if you want to buy it. Quote Link to comment

Can you see what your exact card model is so that I can try to find the exact pin layout? Do not use windows to download them. Just google them and manually download the right ones. Have you tried any other PCI-E slots if you have them on your board? Quote Link to comment

Senior Admin David Miller 665 Posted July 9, 2018 Senior Admin Report Share Posted July 9, 2018 I would suggest taking your CMOS battery out, turning the computer on for 30 seconds then turning it off and replacing the CMOS. 1 Quote Link to comment
