In the end, they need to go to an HQ anyway to send you to jail once they've processed you, if anything, sometimes it's also useful for civs that want to just get rid of charges in the middle of 'bumfuck nowhere' and pay their ticket without having to go to an HQ.

I don’t see what the issue is. It just makes it a little easier for you to NOT break RP when we have clearly taken your comms and GPS . If we catch you in Kavala your boys are going to meet us at HQ...if I catch you in Kavala and process you in dodosjsissisn (whatever the fuck the names are) then even if you break RP it will be a little more difficult for them to find you.

For roleplay purposes, processing in PD is ideal. However, idiots will camp PD due to meta or whatever which makes processing in the middle of nowhere also viable. I think one should be strongly preferred, with the option of random location processing being a contingency.

This thread is necro af but at least for me if I am processing you in the middle of bum fuck where I caught you, its almost always cuz I am trying to let you go back your car and go about your business rather than bringing you to HQ to send you to jail. If anything if cops could only process in HQ, a lot more people would be getting sent to jail and not worth for civs.
