Pushing caps.. multiple groups fighting.  I get killed, decide to pick off some people at gang base in the interum.  

Then I notice something... no matter how many times they die they're never respawning or returning to rebel.  Dope doesn't seem to be an issue and theres no dope crate.

Then I start watching OG fights with rangefinders and lo and behold, teamplayers popping up all over the place with nobody near them.  

I message the only staff member in their group, xlax... and at first he says "friendly fights, not ressing my own team just the enemy team" even though they'd just killed me and a whole mess of people.  

Then he claims ITS A SERVER CARTEL EVENT!   Then actually starts trying to announce rounds in side chat for the first time ever in any of the alleged 'event,' trying to do anything he can to backtrack on being caught cheating in 4k.  

Tp Tryna be the next aegis.

Shit's insulting af because the people who constantly do runs to make money are competing with people who are repeatedly put into situations like this where staff welfare checks carry them.  They say its all for 'fun' and trying to 'revive a dead server' when they do it, but it's not for the people.. it's specifically for their friends.  And THEIR FRIENDS always seem to be the same type of people who refuse to do runs and are the exact type of people who should be forced to do them to afford cartel fights.

I disagree. I don't think that skilled players should need to go back to the processors. The cartels generate their own money. Most of the people that  fight caps now, other than teamplayers, aren't great players and they don't have a lot of money which is probably why Xlax did a cartel event so that they could get revived and would not die, respawn and leave the game or not come back to fight. The people who actually do runs at this point have good houses and are pointless to rob. The only people that can be robbed are newer players and you'll rarely see our gang fucking with them unless it is 4 am and we are on drugs. Most of TP get money from conquest, cartels, and federal events. The only people that don't have money in the gang are the casino addicts.

They fought on cap and killed sov. Sov never repushed and sat on a hill watching them. Xlax talked to the gang he was rezzing and decided to run a mini event TP vs whoever the gang was. Both sides were getting admin rezzed and no one ever got admin rezzed while real genuine fights were happening. IE sov never lost a kit to a illegitimate revive / fight as she never repushed when the rezzes were happening. I agree it does look kinda bad but i would also hear out Xlax on this as personally knowing him i know how serious he takes his position.

This story is also AFAIK i havent talked to xlax directly about it.

Honestly doesn't seem like the situation is even really bad. Probably just having some late night fun, but at least open it up to everyone. What happens if you guys got pushed by a 3rd party team, do you res them too? How are people supposed to know it's a mini event... And from what it looks like reading these messages, the only reason it was eventually opened up to everyone is cause Sov called him out. A lot of us play off info we see in chat, but have no idea if there are events going on if it's kept private. WALT did his little cartel event perfectly last week, I don't see why it couldn't have been done the same.
