Make sure you’re hydrated. Don’t drink alcohol the night of or before. Drink something sugary the morning of. Also bring snacks. I never snacked during a tattoo but you never know if your blood sugar level will be good depending what you’ve drank the days leading up to it. Tattoos also really don’t hurt that bad. The keep up of treating it during the healing process is the worst part really. Other than that if you have questions hmu

Pretty much keeping it out of the sun as best as you can for long periods of time, keeping it moisturized with A&D and using anti bacterial soap and do not scratch when it starts scabbing. You’ll fuck uo most of the recovery. On my first tattoo (the rocket ship) I scratched soooo much and it was healing for like a year cuz I didn’t leave it alone. My other ones were like 3 weeks to a month before they were good to go. The artist will go over how to treat it tho.
