Personally I think its a bad idea, not because Socio was a bad guy, because he wasnt... but because you simply dont 'know' what other people in a community are going through. A lot of people play video games to exit the daily irl grind/stress/etc. By idolizing someone, even as respected and loved by the community as Socio, it makes it 'real' and may make others who feel they are just a shadow think they too can become idolized or seen, even if its just for a moment on some game server somewhere.... I know that's kinda deep and may seem irrational to some, but facts are people in the state of mind of suicide simply aren't in a rational state of mind.

Again - the odds are the SAME with each and every bet. So he wins 3 in a row... the odds have NOT changed for him to win a 4th time. Think of it as flipping a coin...no matter how many times heads comes up in a row, the next flip will be a 50% chance of hitting heads... Now if you want to get into the nitty gritty of statistics, we could say 'the odds of kev hitting 1 in a row is 50%, the odds of kev hitting 2 in a row is 25%, the odders of kev hitting 3 in a row is 12.5%, so damn man the odds of kev hitting 4 in a row is 6.25%..(aka formula = odds^attempts) ok i need to bet the house that he won't hit again... if you bet the house on that logic you're an idiot because your betting the house on a 50/50 chance not a 93.75/6.25 chance. Now if you made a side bet that kev won't hit 4 in a row BEFORE he started better...then thats a safe bet...

Lesson 1 to gambling... house always wins (meaning you ALWAYS LOSE)... Odds are 50/50 but eventually you'll have a bad luck streak.. ie. contrary to what some believe, if you lose 3 in a row and gamble a 4th time, the odds of winning are still the same as when you bet the first 3 times. A sample size of 10 bets isnt big enough to have the odds even out...however a few hundred bets you should see even returns...only issue is if you win the little bets and lose the big bets you are SOL... hence why i am NOT gambling.

I mean I'll say that years ago I was apart of a gaming community that had a yearly camp out at one of the leaders houses... It was a lot of fun... got to hang out irl with the people you hung out remotely with nightly..So I mean a cruise isn't a terrible idea.. certainly more manageable

i mean - to be fair...100 ticket is basically a pardon...there is basically no difference...

i mean - at this point why not make it a 1 dollar ticket OR why not give deputy/PO pardon rights and just have it popup "Player X was pardoned by Cop Y" (i know there is a popup i dont remember what it says) this way if a cpl or up is on and wasnt asked to approve pardon first, they can get in trouble...ez peezy

yeah - Olympus basically will never go the modded route... they used to have fast roping to deploy but it was a 50/50 chance you fall and die without a mod...so they took it out.

well not entirely true - you can attach a 'tow sling' on the vehicle... then attach with chopper... with a blackfish - you can legit load a truck into the back of the thing..

it would basically be a waste of time...fish would go 2+ km up and fly around until restart or until apd lost sight... (id image apd would need to provide evidence they maintained sight in the event of a player report)
