R&R Handbook currently lists gas station robberies as "illegal areas" along with everything else - maybe this was leading to confusion @Muthinator ? Are red zones and illegal zones different things, or are we using the terminology interchangeably? If they're the same, maybe use the same word across all of the handbooks and rules? @McDili

At this point I think the only remaining game-affecting exclusives for pre July 2015 "legacy donators" are the reduced prices and increased salaries. Only took a year and a half for Olympus to become a level playing field again.

Keep the random legal items thing from #2, but keep the "few designated" thing from #1 -- only designated shipwrecks (4-6 of them?). Best of both worlds: more RP encounters, more things to do, minimal new things on the map. In any case a new legit reason to use boats would be great.

My APD experience is that "not RPing" means "not letting the civ win". Simple as that.

Yup, I click "remove container" and nothing happens. Container is empty and I have an empty virtual inventory on my guy. BTW, this is in a house that got hit with the y-inventory wipe a month or two ago (never fixed in my case) - doesn't seem like it ought to matter but maybe something about the DB is messed up?

Isn't ArmA 3 CPU and/or server bottlenecked once you're using a top tier GPU? When I went from a GTX 770 to a 1070 my peak in-town populated server FPS didn't really change, but the settings I can use at that max FPS got much better. I'm really curious about how much performance can be squeezed out via CPU upgrades and RAM speed. I'm already on an SSD, so my main avenues for improvement are upgrading from my 3770k or getting RAM that's better than DDR3 1600 -- main question is whether I might see anything more than a 10% gain.

Suggestion: No new content per se, but a pledge that there will be a monthly dev cycle. 1st week of the month new content gets introduced. 3rd week of the month the devs fix what they broke, however minor. Rinse and repeat. No more waiting 6 weeks for bug fixes. When I was a medic, the delivery missions were broken more often than they were working.

I take it there were problems with R&R / APD collusion in hunting down bounties? Don't know why else this would be necessary.

Wasn't the case when I did a run a few weeks ago. The system for killing the turtles and collecting their meat is really wonky. To kill them, get underneath (~4-5 m), right click so you're looking down the scope of your SDAR in first person mode, then fire a single bullet right in the middle of the underside of the turtle. I find that grabbing the meat works best if you stay in that first person mode and start spamming the windows key while swimming toward the meat. You might have to back up and try again, but sometimes it works right away. In sum, I think 9Jon72's technique being poor is the most likely situation here, not that mine is perfect.

Your best bet with Vigi is probably to camp red zones and wait for a loner with a bounty - you don't have the disadvantage of needing to engage and wait for a reaction. Also, once you have tazed and restrained and explained charges and jail, best bet is not to listen to the person -- they're going to accuse you of rule breaking and/or try to stall for time or make a deal.

Never ever try EVE online if you think that's bad. If you want to build up a base of money without risking your time going to waste, try applying for medic.

I'm thinking alot of people are waiting to see what the landscape looks like post-Tanoa. If it's a fresh start I can see lots of people going there instead of playing somewhere that has items that only "legacy donators" can buy.
