As a member of Junior APD, I remember learning the rules and procedures that come with it mostly by myself and finding it quite daunting with the volume of text in the APD handbook. At the time of me being a junior I found that the seniors were quite unapproachable with questions or explanations.
Now that I am in the position to do so I would like it to be reinforced that I, along with the other seniors are available for absolutely anything APD related through either discord, teamspeak or the forums.

Im someone who hasent had any significant whitelist ever and have never had anything given to me. Giving someone with 0 apd hours a whitelist, 3 hours or not; is not right. Saying "everyone" and "all the shit given to them for being friends with ppl" in the same sentence is unreal. The mass majority of this server get absolutely nothing given to them for free, genuinely NOTHING. 90% of the players you see online daily do not have some SAPD / Staff friend that will give them a 3 hour whitelist for fun for them to just try out the apd under supervision, I've never even heard of that being a thing until reading this thread. I understand when you say everyone you may have been more so speaking to the people who had replied but i want to make it clear that the mass majority do not get the benefits you and your friends get. I in no way have an issue with someone like you or mako or anyone whose put a significant amount of work into olympus getting benefits. But when the benefits are extended out to your friends how is that fair for the rest of the playerbase? How is it fair to other staff members or devs who have put in work? Genuinely does that mean someone like caden or a different dev like codeyeti is now free to give someone apd whitelist as long as theyre supervised? It can be argued theyve both put in 100's if not 1000's of hours of work each. Is that the precedent here? I would really like to hear a answer to the question @ Zeuse posted being where is the line drawn? What amount of work lets you begin handing out your friends temporary whitelists.
I will gladly take a 3 hour supervised apd whitelist for some fun and / or spice.

Well I should Update this to catch anyone who reads this up to date.
First off I joined Arma3 and the server back in late 2018. Was in the military at the time. I had to stop playing due to back to back deployments and Rotations.Got married and Had a son in 2021
Got Remarried in 2023 and got out of the military this year in 2024 and became a cop in my hometown! I look forward to coming back and hopping on the server again (My house expire over 1350 days ago and Forgot about it haha)
Traded in my Camo's for some Blues!!!
But Damn I look good in uniform.
