price already got increased to 5 mil

Increasing the price just sweeps the problem under the rug, but the problem's still there.

You actually think that adding armed jets would be a great idea

No but I think making jets illegal when they have visible weapons that don't work is equally stupid

Really? when was the last time you saw a Blackfish vehicle variant flying around recently? Because I haven't seen a single one.

The only blackfish I have seen since then is the Blackfish infantry which Mako pulled

I fail to see any kind of problem with jets. They arent utilities, if they were you'd see a lot more rich people with them. Millennium is right, rare to see any blackfish out now

Not personally seeing it also doesn't mean there's not a problem.

Sure, there could be a problem. If it was used.

Saying there's a problem without empirical evidence also doesn't mean there's a problem

Can we get armed jets now at least?

But like seriously, why are jets now illegal? They have zero lethality, they just flex. Like - at what point in the conversation was it decided "yes the best way to add balance to the server is to make the actual most useless vehicle illegal"

I have every single jet on the server and I've killed more people with a hatchback. #MakeHatchbacksIllegal

From a server aspect, horrible idea. Easily carpet bomb Kavala and say, "well I engaged on DB" while you kill 10 randoms.

Pretty funny how Corporals using Unarmed Non-Racing Caesars was a huge problem with Civilian Council but Civilians using Supersonic jets isn't. L o l.

Okay for the record I was joking about this. I was making the point that if youre going to make a jet illegal, at least give a good reason for them to be illegal, like them carrying bombs. Hence why after I said "okay seriously" implying in standard English I was joking

Again, they have a visible weapon so they have always met the definition of being an armed vehicle.

Hellcat illegal? There are STELTH variants of shekra and blackwasp, why cant we have those then they show no weapons? also by this logic, armed caesars are not illegal🙂

there is quite a large price gap between the two.

A jet costs millions of dollars, then if you catch a run you either have to land that jet or call for ppl in your group/gang to get over there and fight the run whether it is a big or small run. Now you won't profit from catching 1 box truck doing a run. If you do a tempest run you will get around 1 million, that's not even enough to buy a jet. So you still haven't even made your money back yet and not to mention you will split the money you make with the people that robbed them. Not to mention the fact that if the civs lose the fight( the attacking ppl) then they have NLR and cannot return there for 15 minutes.

A corp plane costs nothing. 300k first purchase, 180k for t4 + basic insurance.

There is an even bigger speed gap between the two.

There are also many more restrictions on Corporal Prop planes compared to Civilians using Jets.

But don't forget the jet flying mach speed behind me after I take someone's comms doesn't "impact cops"

Yeah sorry if the jet is the only legal vehicle that civs have access to that can remain impervious to your Mar10 you always use and the Ghosthawk you always patrol in

Correct, you are playing as an APD officer, you have to follow the APD handbook. Civilians do not. They have to follow the Server rules and that is it.

The speed gap: A jet can not slow down so much doing circles around the redzone scouting, giving exact callouts, etc. So yes you are slower but more impactful with planes for giving out callouts

Armed plane has a usable weapon so it meets the definition of an armed vehicle. The apd should not allow people to use military armed vehicles on the civilian population.

Probably because civilians can't do anything in jets and aren't limited by the APD rules like wave rule and 15 minute redzone timers? I'm curious why you're trying to take the APD and civs to the same "level" when we can't buy ghawks as we see fit.
