Gang Blitz - Official Post

Event:

Finally the day is here....Gang Blitz is a 8v8 fight amongst those who deem themselves the best of Olympus. This a bracket styled event which can also be known as a miniature gang wars. Locations for each fight will be up to chance on the initial coin-flip and will consist of four capture points: OG, Church, Warzone West Alpha Cap, and Syrta Charlie Cap. This is the perfect opportunity for smaller gangs to participate.

Date, Time, Place:

• Gang Leaders Meeting will be January 8th at 3:00 PM EST in Olympus Teamspeak, all gang leaders participating need to attend this meeting.
• Rosters & Brackets will be released on January 13th
• Gang Blitz will be live at 3:00 PM EST on January 16th, Gangs should plan to be in Teamspeak by 2:45 AM EST
• Submit Rosters HERE Rosters may be changed until January 15th at 11:59 PM EST
• If you don't have enough players on your team or you're looking for a team submit your registration HERE  We will contact you via the forums to sort you into teams/ find you players

Rules: 

• Individuals who have been banned in the past for lag-switching, combat exploiting, or scripts will be disqualified instantly (exceptions can be made depending on players ban).
• You may not be currently banned on Olympus Servers if attempting to participate. If you try to evade, your account will be permanently banned, and your teammates disqualified.
• You must have a reasonable amount of playtime on our servers 3 weeks prior to the gang wars date.
• Rosters must have a minimum of 6 players, with a maximum of 8 players playing in the round. Subs lists are restricted to 3 players. If you do not include correct player IDs, your gang will be disqualified.
• All players must use your actual in-game names both on roster and during Gang Blitz. If Players with names that are not on the roster sheet or are not the same as IG-name: that player will be disqualified, matching PIDs or not. No exceptions.
• Players must show POV of any kills or clips if requested by Staff or myself, otherwise face disqualification of your ENTIRE Roster. Players must be able to screen share on Discord immediately when asked, if you attempt to log out from the server before screen sharing you will also be disqualified. Players that can’t record due to “new cpu” or “bad pc” "better whip out your phone and get it nice and lined up on their monitor and keyboard".
• At any point during Gang Blitz if I feel that a player is out of bounds, exploiting, cheating, or in some way not fulfilling the equal fighting game play intended for Gang Blitz, they will be killed, disqualified, and their gang disqualified. (Meaning dpi, dpi jumps, blatant smoke exploiting, vdming, etc) This is at my discretion.
• Any player found impeding the process of Gang Blitz in any way will be subject to administrative action on Olympus Servers. This is at my discretion. Don’t bring on players who are ineligible, banned, or who do not meet the rules stated above. All Olympus rules will be in effect (No VDM, Exploiting etc) Punishment will be decided case by case.
• All players must be in the Olympus Teamspeak for the event

Information:

• Gang Tags must be worn before your in-game name. Ex: Tp | Walt or PLAGUE | Walt
• When applying, make sure that your player list is complete WITH SUBS AND THEIR PLAYER IDS. Players with less than 100 hours on Olympus entertainment servers WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
• This Gang Blitz will be our first ever miniature Gang Wars event, I plan on hosting these every two months. We will be using a similar mission file as regular gang wars.

Rewards:

• 1st place will receive Gang Blitz Winner tags in TeamSpeak and on the forums, 2 Month Subscription for a Gang Uniform, $35 million in game gang funds, 150 Warpoints per player on roster.
• 2nd place will receive $20 million in game gang funds, 100 Warpoints per player on roster.
• 3rd place will receive $10 million in game gang funds and 50 Warpoints per player on roster.

MVP:

The MVP of Gang Blitz will be decided by the people keeping track of points. Criteria includes possible plays made, kill count, and overall performance. This player will receive $5 million in game money, a custom in-game title that displays Gang Blitz MVP, and a pick of any blackwater loot item (including ghosthawks and armed hurons).
