Later buddy

Lots of thirsty virgin 16-18 year olds in the APD looking for their e-gf. They’re your typical incel.
-
That admins criteria for compensation is that the guy should have been restrained and taken to the vigi outpost to receive compensation which is pretty stupid. The fact the guy combat logged should result in ban + jail time and the vigi getting the full bounty. Whatever that admin was saying made no sense at all but he's probably regurgitating his interpretation of server policy.

Go to kavala or pyrgos on a busy day.

CPU is outdated, you'd want something newer and preferably be able to OC it. ARMA 3 is all about how far you can push your CPU.
-
Should vigi's have to follow WPL rules aswell?

They already can get it pulled for that reason since anything that gives PC in the ticket guide makes them eligible for license revocation. However, this is discouraged because of the tiered system so ideally they’d need additional things against them (eg LEO manslaughter, illegal taser usage or multiple manslaughters). -
Altis Life Update - 8/8/2018

Removed: Cop and medic channel Any particular reason this was removed? -
IMO he already should be. I’m going by what was written on their forums. It didn’t mention mcdili so it seemed you wanted it.

I don’t think Poseidon working for Asylum is a betrayal because this sort of thing happens in IRL all too often. The founder of a company leaves or is let go, takes a sabbatical and then works somewhere else. A recent example is Raja Kadouri who until very recently was the head of AMD GPU development but then got a better offer at Intel so now he’s developing GPUs for them which are coming in 2020. Look at Steve Jobs, he was forced out of Apple at one point and ended up competing against them until Apple realized they’d made a huge mistake so they brought him back and he took them to new heights. So who knows, maybe Poseidon will be back someday or perhaps he’s enjoying the challenge (and money) Asylum is providing and he may stay there for awhile until he finds something better. People move on from their businesses all the time and even compete against them, it’s just business IMO and not personal. @Jesse you’ve even offered to buy out Asylum and if bamf had agreed, that would have made you Olympus’ worst nightmare.

Good to see you're back, I miss your vids.

A trend I see is illegal runs declining now that population + apd presence has increased in the last few months: https://gyazo.com/34a6fcd508d3c64a8574856441b8ea5b Additionally, these statistics do not take into account runs during the day during peak hours vs late night runs when cop presence is minimal and done by only a subset of the server population. Numbers don't always paint the entire picture.

Walk away from an orca stacked with cops right on top of you while you have a tempest and you say I’m being retarded? Obviously this has you defensive and I get it but look at it with an unbiased point of view and you will see I’m right. Corporal air units over illegal zones is killing big illegal civ runs, especially during peak hours. Anyway Dante said no so it’s pointless for me to argue this any further. I will say this sort of bs is what did eventually kill off Asylum and I have years of experience there with that, much more than you do here.
-
Corporals would still be able to pursue if called by a ground unit. Sgt+ should be the ones patrolling illegal areas in the air. I don’t expect this to be popular with career cops.
-
I didn’t say they should lose their helis. What should be removed is their ability to stack 6 cops in multiple orcas and patrol over illegal areas. That right now is one of the biggest factors in killing large civilian illegal runs during peak hours. They basically blanket both sides of Altis and apart from brand new players who don’t know better, everyone else just resorts to small quilin runs or nothing at all. It’s why you rarely see a tempest out now when these air patrol units are up.
-
I already did buddy go read my original post. Remove corporal ability to patrol illegal areas with helicopters as it’s too OP for that rank and kills civ life. Only Sgt+ should have this ability.
-
Don’t pretend like it’s not true. As soon as a couple corporals hop on with their stacked air patrol units it completely kills civ illegal runs. Anyone who denies this is either: A. Corporal protecting their rank B. Career cop hoping for corporal C. Blind
-
Good update! Corporals should be nerfed if anything. Remove the ability of corporals to fly over illegal areas cuz that just kills civ illegal activity on servers.
-
Officers should not stop R&R personnel from performing their medical duties without reason. Officers should have a means to stopping medical personnel in controlled situations. This means boots on the ground and/or an armed aerial vehicles should be present when denying medics at controlled situations. So if cops get wiped at an illegal area (e.g. cocaine processing) and a few rebels died in the process and they request a medic, the medic doesn't have to listen to the APD to stay away unless the APD can enforce this right?
-
That’s definitely not healthy. Time to step away from the PC and go do something else.
-
I'm from Asylum and crafting had nothing to do with it becoming a shit server. Reasons are what I noted above.
-
How did crafting kill Asylum? What killed or rather is killing Asylum is the lack of updates and bad management from the owner.
-
About time, this thing with it's price being next to nothing really started ruining the game. Personally I'd rather @Jesse and @McDili raised the price back to what it used to be and this rule was rolled back to them being legal. That would be a legit balance and bring people back to doing ground runs and feds rather than the shitty blackfish meta we have now.

Altis Life Update - 5/16/18 - Housing Inventory Overhaul
Dirty Scrubz commented on Kurt 's blog entry in Altis Life Development
Lol there’s gonna be a lot of butt hurt corporals that were overly lethal happy. Good change. Also very solid patch I’m liking all the changes, keep it up!
