    It’s always been like this. I can’t necessarily say I am fully on board with how the rule is written but it’s always been enforced as such.

    I get what you are saying. All of these factors will be taken into consideration. Seems like the kind of rule break that will require log digging. It can be done.

    So, this wasn’t a @ -Shawn- only decision. This was an all staff discussion. We realized that the fact that you can blow up a shed and not consider it a hostile action towards you was a bit silly. We want to (and will be adjusting the rules to reflect as such) make this an official hostile action but it won’t be as simple as “I thought he was going to blow up my shed so I blasted him without proper engagement”. We will make sure that player who is blowing up the shed can be seen actually placing a bomb on the shed itself or if they rammed a vehicle causing the shed to blow up etc. So don’t worry. People will still have to engage in most situations. We wanted to be more open to these kind of scenarios and discussed it for a good while and all came to a consensus. Some rules need to be adjusted to get with the times and just because a rule was good years ago, doesn’t mean it’s good now. @ Community Director Sov

    What I would like is just require a minimum APD members to respond to a fed and then whoever else ones to join is optional. I can’t be bothered to fight feds anymore. I know sAPD can tell others not to join but rarely ever do so I just go there and want to kill myself with a fucking spoon smacking against my head every time I get one tapped from an MK1 that recoils like crazy from 1000 meters out.

    There is no question feds are terrible for cops. But I understand that it needs to be fun for CIVs too. It’s very hard to balance this and there is a clear issue here that I’m not even sure will have a solution. I get muscle spasms and aids when I fight feds. I gave up on feds a long time ago. I literally walk around with my gun holstered and arrive on a quad bike. Keeps my sanity under control.
