can anyone recommend a good recording program? the one i have only lets me record for 10-minutes at a time, which is extremely inconvenient since the video needs to be at least 5 minutes long to be used as evidence, and most of what i found online isn't free.

If you have a Nvidia card use Shadowplay 100%. With that you set it were it records the last 5 minutes which is very helpful if you just got rdm'd. You can also have the recording going on the whole time you play just in case something happens. Otherwise I would just use OBS. Not much experience with it but I think it works well too.

Plays.TV
10 times better than Shadowplay, hands down. Used to use shadowplay, never will again after using plays.tv It records your ENTIRE session and then lets you clip it very easily with their GUI. It automatically erases old recordings once you reach the limit that you assign. You can set it to bookmark individual moments of your session, or you can get save a recording of the last X amount of minutes. Automatically uploads to Plays.TV any clips that you make.
The only downside is that you can't make videos uploaded to Plays.TV private. Meh. just manually upload them to youtube at that point.

OBS should have everything you need, you can choose whether to record or stream, have overlays and you can change almost everything you need to. Plus its completely free.
