  1. Patrol Officers may use SDAR's for the event. Hell, they can even give them to deputies as long as the deputies don't soft log with them.
  2. Now you are just beating at the same argument when the tazing rule for federal events was brought up. Here is a handful of reasons why tazing at an event like that is overpowered: 1) If you tase an officer, it eliminates wave rule simulation, thus defeating the entire fighting point of the APD, which is to win through attrition. 2) Cops are still going to respond normally, I mean it’s a robbery after all, so using the term optional to back up your argument doesn’t help much. 3) To be able to summon cops falsely so that you can rob them with a pharmaceutical is not clever. If there is no intention to do the event, then what kind of point to the event is that? Just use the dispatch to bait cops ffs. 4) The APDs loadouts literally make them grunts. They have a dog shit vests and most guns used by rebels out-gun the majority of the APD. At this point I could just hit you with the: Rebels should step up their game if they can’t handle a bunch of grunts with tasers. If they can’t win with lethal weapons then they don’t deserve to do the event in the first place. - however I am going to remind you all that especially in the case of the pharmaceutical, it is an event that we can experiment things with and try to find a good balance. What has been implemented certainly isn’t final product so you all need to figure out what would actually balance it instead of beating around the bush.
  3. That’s because the sole reason people were doing these events was to get cop loadouts, which was entirely missing the point of the event. If civilians need to tase cops to win, then the civilians need to work with people like their civilian reps to fix this issue. SMH when I hear I am “nerfing the APD” when I am trying to encourage civilians to do more federal events without actually restricting people from playing. God forbid I make an update that removes an unnecessary item from the APD; At the same time, god forbid I make an update that attempts to fix a ridiculous and frankly OP solution to civilians winning federal events. Also this rule essentially fixes nothing. The blackfish literally goes faster than any APD vehicle. Fly out of sight and this rule update changes nothing.
  4. Because $100 is what pops into the ticket UI by default. It never made sense to have to delete 100 just to replace it with 500 for a pardon. Wasn’t meant to be the best solution to the issue - just something to deter its use in certain situations.
  5. This rule change is effective immediately. Post any questions/concerns below. Chapter XII - Fines and Penalties Ticketing Procedure Patrol Officers and Deputies are to abide by the ticket values with no deviation from the fine amounts, even in the absence of higher ranking officers. Patrol Officers and Deputies are only permitted to write a $500 $100 pardon ticket when there are no Corporals or higher available to grant a pardon. Chapter IX - Searches and Seizures Seizure of Vehicles Illegal vehicles are to be seized at the end of a situation. Any civilian vehicles left after a federal event will be seized. Vehicles containing illegal contraband valued at $350,000 or more are to be seized. Vehicles will only be seized upon the order of the highest ranking APD member at the situation. Vehicles found to be transporting other vehicles that are under seizure rules may also be seized. (Ex. An Orca that was slinging a 50 cal, a Blackfish that was transporting a federal event truck) Officers must have a constant view of the carrier vehicle(s) should the passenger vehicle be released in order for it to be seized.
  6. Logs on different server to take pictures*
  7. Likely a coding change 60 days prior to the drop
  8. Yeah no more - we got enhanced GPS now anyways
  9. This rule change is effective immediately. Post any questions/concerns below. Chapter XIII - APD Equipment & Ground Vehicles APD Tools Bait Appliances may only be used on bait cars not intended for unmarked patrol. (No civilian or standard police vehicles) Chapter XV - Bait Cars Bait cars are not to be used at any time for patrol. Exception - Sergeants+ may utilize SUVs for unmarked patrol. Unmarked patrols may not enter redzones without probable cause. At any given time, a maximum of 3 bait cars may be in use by the APD on a single server. Bait cars may be left in illegal areas. However, this does not warrant “camping” of the illegal area. Bait cars must be accompanied by a marked APD vehicle into the illegal area. This is for engagement purposes. Activation of the vehicle, or movement of the GPS tracker gives probable cause to raid any red zone the aforementioned vehicle was left in, regardless of time since the last visit. If the APD come under attack during transportation of the bait car to the desired location, the APD are allowed to retaliate in order to resolve the situation. APD Bait cars are only to be given to civilians in order to facilitate police operations.
  10. It was a pleasure working with you o7
  11. o7 Good friend I better see you in June
  12. Cocaine is super easy to do if you utilize the black market
  13. It is still legal, just not purchasable at a legal shop. If you are willing to pay us then I will make sure the rule breakers are gone! But seriously we do our best. Sometimes staff isn't available and it sucks, but its realistic considering we volunteer for this and take time out of our lives - thus sometimes other obligations are a bigger priority. We also can't watch 333 players across all three servers. This is where players like you need to do your part, and record and report so that we can take action against the rule breakers. Same goes for APD members and Medics.
  14. They didn’t have a m-900 in the first place
  15. What vehicles were you using? Anyone using a hatchback should be able to make it easily to the fed from kavala at a pace similar to the brick that is an m900.
  16. Stands for McBitch
  17. Happy birthday queerbait @Fushigi

    Enjoy this:

  18. Wasn't necessary. In the case of even one of the federal events, the hatchback was faster when testing was done. Obviously I expect crashes, but as long as we aren't losing more than a minute and a half in most cases then it shouldn't make a big difference.
  19. This rule change is effective immediately. Post any questions/concerns below. Chapter V - Hostage Situations Any player who partakes in the tasing and/or restraining and/or robbing of an APD officer will be charged with hostage situation. Chapter IX - Searches and Seizures Warrants Search Warrants Searching a house/gang shed is authorized when: An APD member has a form of probable cause (bounty, illegal weapon, etc.) and witnesses a civilian interacting with and/or shooting out of a house/gang shed in any form. The Sergeant or higher has discretion on whether or not to conduct a search. Chapter XII - Fines and Penalties Jail If a player has a combined total of 15 or more Manslaughter, LEO Manslaughter, Vehicular Manslaughter, and Gang Homicide charges they are considered a serial killer Chapter XIV - APD Aircraft Airplane Patrols Airplane recon patrols can be performed by an APD member, with the approval of a Corporal or higher. You may perform recon over illegal areas without using lights and sirens. Fixed Wing Patrol - The Fixed Wing Aircraft can be used for both recon and rapid response. For standard patrols, the APD may employ the use of parachutes. Minimum Crew - Pilot - Corporal or higher must be present. These patrols require an additional unit to engage using code 3 in illegal areas if the patrol utilizes parachutes, or landing to engage suspects. Armed Fixed Wing Patrol - The Armed Plane patrols are conducted by Sergeants or higher. These patrols can be used for both recon and rapid response. Armed Planes will follow Ghosthawk engagement rules. Exception - Armed Planes can engage ground units. Armed planes may mirror the guns hot status of any active Ghosthawks. However, this does not apply vice-versa. If a Ghosthawk is guns hot, then any Armed Plane in the area will also be guns hot. M-900 Patrol Officers and higher are permitted to utilize the M900 exclusively for transportation to federal events/terror. Any use other than transportation to a federal event/terror will need the authorization of an online Corporal or higher. Chapter XVI - Training Facility The APD Training Facility (located in Pyrgos) must only be utilized for the purpose of training. Any officers found abusing the features of the training dome and/or interrupting an ongoing APD training are subject to discipline. Other Notes (That have to do with the recent development update): Corporals can pardon specific charges as they see fit (obviously should be within reason and justifiable.). Don't worry about any 50% crap here. Just obviously don't be pardoning big name charges Cops found sitting next to courthouse just to fuck with civilians trying to get their stuff paid can be subject to disciplinary action The M-900 was not needed. We ran the stats for time it takes to get to federal events (soon to get the gyazo for it), long story short: it actually didn't change much. Also this is to compensate for the fact that there is a stack for most federal events, thus people stuck in an area a distance away from the federal event should encourage a corp+ that joins to spawn nearby and take them to the event. I also threw an easter egg somewhere in the handbook. Shouldn't take long to find it
  20. Congrats @Stuuurrt
