5min RP window in helicopter chases

So you are in a helicopter and get a text from a helicopter following you saying land or die.  If you don't comply and keep flying and they are not able to shoot at you from their helicopter, no ground units shoot at you, and no additional texts are received, (no hostile actions or engagement communication whatsoever) is the engagement over after 5 minutes?  Can you store your helicopter at this 5 minutes?

They are following you for the 5 minutes. 

"Combat skirtting," you say?  Wouldn't combat skirtting be a thing in every refusal of RP engagement?  Its not your fault they can't properly fire upon you.  They should have planned it better.

You're saying you should land and let them attack or you are facing a possible ban?  Doesn't make sense to me.

Well you can’t store it to avoid a engagement, so if they are flying towards you obviously or are landing and about to shoot then yes would be considered combat storing but if they are no where in sight and the 5 minutes have passed it should be fine

I mean if they are very clearly pursuing you and you store after 5 minutes then that would probably be combat storing. That’s just something you’d probably wanna ask an admin since it’s really their opinion that matters. Store at your own risk I guess

If the initial text of engagement has exceeded the 5min window then you are good to store even if they are still following you, as long as no shots were fired and no additional texts have been sent to restart the 5mins then you're good to store. Ppl saying if they are still following you and you store it's still combat storing are retarded lol.

Unless shots are fired, or they made it very clear that they are still engaged with you (via text and/or voice, shots, etc) once the 5 minutes pass you are no longer engaged. Hence why the 5 minute engagement rule exists.

I mean, normally it’s a case-by-case type of deal.... Meaning there are always exceptions to rules if an admin interprets it a certain way..... just listen to the boys above ( @Ryan and @RogueMK ) and you shouldn’t have any problems.

Just gain altitude to like 3-4k then shut your engine off to save fuel and glide down and land somewhere. Chances are they aren't looking up. I get away all the time that way
