GL would have given us smokes? That's practically useless vs a weapon that is statistically better. It keeps penetration and velocity over longer distances compared to the regular Spar 16.

2 hours ago, Phizx said:With 2 thumbs and 8 other functioning fingers you should be able to get 50 arrests quite easily. At the end of the day they’re both 9mms anyway
I mean, 50 arrests and "easy" don't belong together.
Arrests are super situational, and rely heavily on tons of different factors.
What's the server pop? Is there anyone hanging out inside cities? Is everyone out doing runs? If pop is higher, how many people are running in groups? Are there even that many wanted players on? and so on and so forth.
There have been days I log on for an hour during high pop times, and if I'm being a cunt and taking EVERYONE I can, I get maybe 12 arrests. There are other days where I log on and play for two hours and only take in the 3 people I managed to find doing runs or something (especially recently with the low pop.)
It also relies heavily on how big of a massive cunt you want to be. Something a lot of vigilantes don't like to be, but are forced to to get their arrest count up. I have A TON of arrests and so I have slown down on taking people under 250k, but other vigilantes just starting are practically required to farm noobs to get anywhere, and it's toxic.

3 hours ago, Hisoka said:Well I mean tbh I thought it’d be obvious that the mk20c is a shit weapon but that’s not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is that if you actually put a decent 6.5 weapon as the tier v weapon everyone would complain. In my opinion I think the Mx or mxm would be a good fit for tier v considering vigilantes as of now don’t have any weapons good for range.
This argument is solid, it just doesn't fit what the rest of the council wants. I know because I've made this exact argument word for word. In short, vigilante will receive no buffs unless I go over the council and bring unapproved things up at a meeting, which completely disregards the entire purpose of the council.

@everyone complaining about T5 vigilante shit, I made several public posts asking for people's support on a 6.5 weapon, and your general ideas. There was barely anyone who gave feedback. The feedback I got said that a 6.5 gun was a bad idea and the only person arguing against that was myself and one other vigilante.
You can't complain when you won't put your thoughts in.

Was talked about last meeting. People are still under the assumption that vigilantes are super OP and make too much money, so there is 0 support from the rest of the council.

Would love to do more. There is no support from the rest of the civilian council on most things vigilante. I cannot just make changes without their support.
You should put your council application in. I'd love to show you what happens when you suggest changes that buff vigilante in anyway lol

Civ Roundtable 2019-10-13
A group blog by Civilian Representatives in General
We have a T5 vigilante, now we can work the kinks out on what is fair and not fair for them to have.
There will have to be compromises from all of you guys, we can't just go adding a ton of shit to a faction that previously made way too much money without ever balancing things on the lower end as well.
It also is unfortunately not just my decision. Things have a process and plenty of checks and balances. I have to get civ council to agree to changes first and fore most, which currently they aren't willing to agree to a 6.5, high bounty payout, or any real buff at all. Try as I may, I cannot change that. I've spoken to each of them and even held meetings up by arguing my point for over an hour. It doesn't change the fact that the overwhelming majority of the council disagree with me and do not thing vigilantes need anything better than they currently have.
As dumb as you are, @HoesMad, I can't possibly expect you to understand this.. but I'll say it again just to make sure I tried:
I don't make final decisions on anything. I do not have the power to approve something just because I am the lead rep for vigi's. I can only suggest things, argue for them, and if they get approved take them to the staff meeting and do the same. You seem to want a broken system where the rep's can just do whatever they please without the rest of the server arguing against it or having a chance to be the check and balance. That's just not how it works, and for a damn good reason.

Maybe if people would stop using the gay ass "vigilantes make too much money" argument to deny every idea we come up with, things would be different. This is all we can get approved currently.

Civ Round Table 4/28/19

21 hours ago, Lincoln Williams said:Civ can check registration of vehicles..... why? Lite rp is lite rp but cmon... this is a no brainer for many reasons. I feel this needs to be removed for multiple reasons. I'll list 3 then would love a counter or a reason why this is even a option.
1. Player a kills player b. Player b respawns and decides to be a prick and find any vehicle with player a name or gang to destroy, chop, etc.
2. Vigi parks vehicle in kavala and begins chasing random bounty. Random civ checks registration, recognizes vigi name, disables car. Now vigi and possible bounty at more risk.
3. "I hate this person" .......so civ interacts with car belonging to said hated person (cop, medic, etc) even though new life, etc etc.
I don't find any value in this addition outside of knowing if it's your car and even then spamming unlock has never been a issue. Please feel free to explain it.
Here's a thought:
Vigi sees random tree shitter with 1mil bounty, surrounded by other tree members in Kavala. Vigi checks cars nearby, and finds the bounties car, places a GPS tracker, and waits for him to be alone or off guard.
There's plenty of pros to outweigh the cons brother.

Civ Council Round Table 2/5/19

Possible future update idea..
Usually you can find another garage, but sometimes there's not one close by. Could implement some system where if the car spawn point is blocked by a vehicle that is locked and hasn't been touched in awhile: a civilian can have it "impounded" through the garage menu. You could make this be an action where it takes time to do, maybe the same time it takes to lock pick a car etc. and it should alert everyone that the car is being removed from the space (like when a cop or medic impounds a car).
Not a major problem, but it's super annoying when people leave their cars on garages and no one's around to impound them.

L0L @Mr Majestic I'm shocked you haven't replied to this.
As if my arguments are invalid.. even cop PO's feel unfairly kitted, and they're definitely not!
