I’d also say further defining of processes to catch potential cheaters, exploiters etc. specifically, if someone is suspected of doing x y z, you’d ask them for evidence within the next 2-3 minutes so they could at least have the opportunity to hit the alt f10. This one is a little bit picky, but since not much went wrong I think it deserves some thought. I’d imagine the only real drama we faced during this gw would’ve been no drama at all if a well defined suspected exploiter/cheater system had been thought of before hand.

 

Lastly, multiple streams would be ideal IMO. I know I had some viewers on my stats stream who thought my second perspective (typically looking down onto cap) was more preferred then DP’s close up cam. Having 2 people streaming would just add another chance for spectators to get the view they most prefer.

 

I think overall like @ Zahzi  has already said, given the circumstances, time, and overall ability we had, we did very well. Did everyone love it? No, but that’s typically what happens anyway. We were done by 5 pm EST…. THATS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. We also slid out of this one with only 1 issue the whole time, again NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. There were a lot of good things about this GW, and there were things we can improve on as well. I just wanna say thank you to those that made this happen! @ DeadPool  @ Doc  @ Martinezzz  @ Zahzi  @ Masoooooooooon  @ destruct  @ Maddox  @ Millennium  and @ Orgondo

For the sake of transparency, there never has been a finite amount of corporal slots people are promoted if the sAPD believes they deserve a chance. The way we determine this is based on many factors, but in general, we look for POs who stand out from the herd. So if you're a PO who’s just kind of there and doesn’t contribute or say anything, you’ll probably remain at the rank of PO. Seniors are actively looking for PO’s who stand out and could be promoted in the future.

Regarding the buffer rank between PO and CPL, I don’t see much of a point as exceptional PO’s will get promoted to CPL.

I’ve been to my fair share of feds/Bws, as a cop, recently with Noble in them and the apd was usually outnumbered by a significant amount. Regardless of that trying to push a bw or fed with 25+ defenders can only be done in a way that people will complain. As for seniors not wanting to login I can also give you some insight. Pretty much as soon as you see noble either mass log or just be in the server with their huge stack no one even wants to play 25 v 15 federal event. I know back in the day the senior/cpl stack was pretty bad however recently it doesn’t appear to be as bad of an issue.

Following a computer crash I log back on to resume my moonshine run. I see a dumb ass rolling down the hill, I immediately assume that he's just trying to get close to rob me.

I hope into the Olympus TS, Initially the support member who dealt with the case said the warning shot counted as initiation but when a bunch of other support members joined weather or not the single shot I fired counted as initiation was disputed.

Now I'm VERY frustrated by how this was handled, because the inconsistency between different support members is the reason why I fired that "warning shot" . 

~ 2 weeks ago I was involved in a RDM case against me. The player had asked me to join the TS so I did. The player had shot near me and I immediately gunned him down.  I joined the TS feeling confident that I was in the right just for the support team member to say that those shots by me weren't initiation and I had rdmed. I then comped the kid and moved on. 

Fast forward to today, I joined the TS feeling confident that I had been RDMed because of this previous support team interaction. Just to find out that I was infact in the wrong again.
