Clemenza, I remember the first time I talked to you was when I was arrested, I asked for a higher up, and you came in with all your big as gear. I said my gun was a paintball gun and that it doesn't hurt people. You said that I was to shoot you, and if you died, then I go to jail, but if you live I get a pardon for all of my like 30k bounty. You unrestrained me, told other cops to leave, then I shot you... with my rook. Then you said shoot five bullets. So, I did. You proceeded to unrestrain me and pardon me of my pety crimes and let me go with my stuff. 5 minutes later we repeated this, but when I was denied a higher up for no apparent reason other than "I said so, and I'm a cop, so I'm gonna send you to jail now." I was furious, I messaged you in Team speak because I didn't really fully understand the rules, and that I could be denied a higher up. You responded by moving me into a channel and we talked for a while about how the server and rules with cops work. You then decided to come let me out, even though i was only in jail for about 20 minutes, then you gave me the money back for my full bounty price and let me on my way. That experience was one of, if not, the best experience I've had on civ, while interacting with apd. You were kind, and understanding, and listened to what i had to say. If I was to go to a higher up now and ask this, they would say if I have a problem with an officer to report it, and if I don't have a video then sucks to suck. But, when you asked if I recorded it, and I said no, you responded with "That's OK, I believe what your saying". Then you let me on my way. You are and will always be a cop who people should look up to, and I will miss seeing you around. The things you did for this server were great things, that you knew would help, even if others didn't. I will always look up to you. I hope to see you around from time to time. O7.

He is saying, that as his last act he should "pardon" you. basically, Clemenza should have you un-blacklist as his last act as chief, even though he has technically already lost his power, but yeah

In certain situations people could use it to evade robbers or cops while doing drug runs, then they can pop back in sneak up behind the unsuspecting enemy/cop, and kill them. Or log off at cartel, and log back in close by and then just run in with less chance of being spotted than if they were in an ifrit. And yeah, it could clog it up, but also, if people learn how it works and things they could do to exploit it, then that could ruin the server because of how annoying it would be. I think that that function should be a priority to have working as if not working properly, could be exploited, and abused.

Clearly, or I guess not clearly, that thread and post was in a joking manner, especially since my gang leader is Solomon. True, but, I'd sacrifice a little bit of a slower server if it means people aren't spawning behind me because they logged off and back on behind me since they got pushed out of the red zone barely. I just want to ale the server work best as possible then work not as well and have more problems but run better.

"Looting other players backpack should be disabled again" yay, lost a lot of mags and a toolkit yesterday while I was processing a guy. BTW: Sofia HQ has no ATM and has two places to buy weapons and gear, I know that there definitely should be a ATM unless not, but that would be weird. And don't know of two places to buy shit is intentional or not. Also would love if the gate on the west side could get raised, as of right now, any truck except truck boxer and other small truck can drive over the gate and right into the HQ. Also, noticed that on the east wall, people can crawl under parts of the wall since they are raised a little off the ground. And would love a gate in between the two sections, shooting range, and the huge radar station area, seems fitting since there is a passageway to go through, but no gate. The wall by the east gate also has no wall next to one side, making it easy to drive cars through. And at the east gate it would be nice to have a double gate system at the point where you enter HQ and the point where the gate is currently. Would be nice since we can't see around the corner to see if the gate is open without going all the way over to it. just some things I've noticed about Sofia HQ that would be awesome if they could get added/fixed. Love the work though. And one question, can a ghost hawk actually take off straight up without hitting the radar station in Sofia HQ? Cause it is really close to it. also, an idea for anti-ghosting could be a 10 minute timer, since fights might last 5-10 minutes if it is between gangs, then the person could also be spawned outside the red zone a kilometer, and anyone within that kilometer of him or the red zone gets a notification that someone has spawned in a kilometer outside the red zone. Could be abused, especially if they do it to avoid people and save a loadout. Maybe it would only spawn someone outside the red zone if someone was within 200m of being in the red zone also. So if someone's game crashes and they come back, but no one is around, then they could just spawn where their last sync was, just so it isn't really annoying for people. this ^^^^^^^ probably doesn't make sense to people, I thought it would make more sense in my head

If I recall correctly, staff, and I can't remember exactly, but they expressed they wanted to see it, not that it was going to happen. If I'm wrong then, whoops, but the guy was still very rude and demanding. Love the idea and would definitely love to see it, but just want to see people be nice about it. Not rude and childish using caps lock and dumb emojis, because that is not how people should ask for things they want from people who don't get paid to do this time consuming difficult task. Sorry if I'm wrong. And I am also almost positive it was never a donation goal but just and idea some people wanted and DJ said he was working on. @3 rip @Merpfer

Never was a donation goal, and "we were supposed to get this forever ago" is a false statement because no dev/staff ever said, this will be added to the server for sure. So quit your bitching, if you want it, ask nicely, just cause you're online and want to act cool, does not mean you should be rude, if you ask nicely for the people who don't get paid to do this very time consuming and difficult job, then they might look into it. But saying "give me it, you promised", is rude, and you clearly only want and care about what you do. @Jesse has put in a shitload of work for this community, and frankly, I haven't seen a whole lot of people who like what he's done and genuinely thank him, not saying no one has, And i don't know about pm's he may have received, but, publicly not many people have really thanked him, except for some. So maybe try and ask nicely, and they'll think about it, not like a childish dick online who is spoiled and buys things online with his mommy's credit card, who also doesn't put in his age on the forums cause he doesn't want people knowing how old he is. Also notice how everyone is calm and saying "please" and "love the idea". Not "GIVE ME THE AUCTION HOUSE (fucking Emily face with a gay ass but chin bullshit)". So be kind and ask politely.

Yeah but, as it is right now. I see many deputies and fellow po's who see people in cop fear without a blue name and they arrest them, I did that once, then a corporal came in and rp'd it was a mistake, corporal told me to rp with people in full cop gear, and so I took the guy to patrol with me. I think it would be easier for cop to civ dressed as cop rp, and would be new civ to civ dressed as cop rp, cause then they might think they're a cop. And besides, right now, if I'm engaged with cops and down the road I see a guy dressed as a cop, I'm going to shoot him, even if I don't know his name. That's just me, but yeah.

Yeah, true, but then don't be dumb and act like a cop, some cops get shot by a dude, *bang bang* down he goes until "backup" (actual cops) come to arrest him. People should always be aware of their surroundings, and if you know cops are in a engagement, and you're rping as a cop, then you are also in that engagement. What everyone is saying could happen, but I just think in those scenarios people should be aware, and if they login and get paid gear on, then they should go to the HQ first, to start their patrol. You guys have good points, but if people are more aware and know what the fuck is going on wherever they are, then this shouldn't happen. They should see who cops have been killed by, and should have an idea of who they are engaged with, and because of rp, they would be engaged. They also should be with the cops, not necessarily alone, especially if they're in a city like Kavala. I wonder if it would be possible to make cops name above their head to be same color as civ, could make it easier to rp being a cop, and people won't freak out as mjuch when they see any blue name. I think it could improve rp a good amount and it would be interesting to have people rp as cops, I thought this could be an interesting idea.

Gary doesn't respond to calls like this, he comes and goes when he pleases. Like the time when he left me as a deputy with another deputy and said we could use his hunters in Kavala. Funny time, until we got on stuck in a tree and on was flipped in between two houses, but other wise, those five minutes were fun.

Thank you for clearing this up for everyone, a shame that you had to tell people twice but I guess our community is reluctant sometimes. although a cool potential idea could be, maybe there're epis at rebel but they only have like a 4 minute timer, so cartel fighters are pretty much going to die unless they leave cartel the second they get epi'd. Could maybe cater to cartel fighters. Obviously normal 7 minute epis are only found at hospital p, but yeah, just an idea.

I get it's more efficient, but it's dumb that you can go to rebel with jack shirt and come out wth everything needed for a cartel fight. There's no risk in that and it would be op for rebels to be able to spawn, immediately go to rebel and then to rebel without a risk of being copaught by police or a medic seeing you and reporting it to cops. Just saying, it won't happen. Or at least shouldn't happen.
