As far as I know it won't be a safezone.  You will be able to access the atm on the NPC at the front desk.

lets hope the stuff that comes out of the art gallery will be worth something and not another one of these (small) gang activity events and pay nothing, looks cool though.

According to what I've heard from @Tech, the guy who developed it from my understanding, each of the games have set odds that are basically exactly what your odds are at an IRL casino.
