Off, vsync makes your fps max out at the hertz of your monitor 60hz = 60fps Max etc. makes for a really unenjoyable/laggy game.

Vsync should only be used if you have screen tear.

A 60hz monitor can only physically display up to 60fps / hz. if you have 200fps and a 60hz monitor your eyes still only see 60fps regardless. Vsync dont make a difference in this scenario.

Also vsync works differently in different games.. ect.. some games matches your monitors refresh rate and some games (like arma) just hard lock the fps to 60fps regardless of monitor refresh rate. This is all to reduce screen tearing and should only really be used if that is a problem for you. Below is a picture showing screen tearing. you will be able to notice these small tears while moving your camera in game if you have them.

If you are getting screen tearing i would recommend you get a monitor that has support for either FreeSync or G-Sync as these actively change their refresh rate to what your current FPS is to remove screen tearing. vsync is usable to fix screen tearing but a proper monitor is way better.

Note: vsync does not increase performance. it just fixes screen tearing.

  3. Holy shit @NokiaStrong finally made corp congrats!

  4. I'm guessing this is only the case when a situation is deemed clear and you are heading back to HQ?
  5. So if there is a fight in Kavala (shooter is on office building) and two officers are leaving HQ to provide backup, can one go code 3 in one direction to draw the shooters attention away while the second officer sneaks up and climbs the later of the building and then verbally engage?
  6. Wow now, let's not let @CocoisDead get his ego up.
  7. Tarus are very buggy. When they spawn you need to wait until you see them drop before you jump in.
  8. Not anywhere near done with moving in/ decorating but here is the start!
  9. My setup is almost done
  10. THATS A DOWN VOTE. @MillenniumIS MINE
  11. That's a big thing to call someone out on with no proof...
  12. Just curious
  13. I didn't know a new one was out. Just read it. My apologies.

  15. That doesn't make sense at all. That's like saying take out moonshine entirely because some other gang is trying to sell before me.
  16. Why remove moonshine from salvage?
  17. Yikes just said yes mama to the guy at Starbucks

  18. I don’t believe they were changing that. At least that I can remember
  19. The way he described it, is that the new rule mainly pertains towards the corporals that just sit at the HQ while all the non-lethals push. In a situation like you described, I believe that it would be the usual "when an officer dies twice lethals are loaded."
  20. So if one cops heads to the fed solo because the other officers are across the map, does that not count for a wave towards lethals?
