considering this is about what other similar servers have sold for it is probably the most accurate an important factor as well is that some random guy isnt gonna have their offer accepted it have to be a staff member etc.

Yeah because most civs can be cringe I personally will not treat any criminal brought to the cops by civs any different to someone turning themselves in unless cops witnessed them doing something. In that situation, its entirely possible that the guy got a pardon because he had good roleplay and the officers were lenient because you theoretically could have just witchhunted him. I'm sure that you wouldn't like it if you were kidnapped by a civ and then they brought you to HQ and made up a bunch of things you did to bias the officers against you during processing.

I mean, this is the same as getting processed right away when being driven into an HQ/safe secondary location from an active situation. A civ can do the same thing when taking another civ hostage, if your comms are taken you are generally fucked because someone can take you to the middle of nowhere/a different vigi outpost on civ to rob/vigi you. Arma and Altis Life especially is a social game and many gameplay mechanics/rules expect you to not be by yourself. Don't play in ways where you are too isolated from your group where someone can tase and restrain you without getting killed unless your group is wiped anyways. If your group sees you get tased/restrained and doesn't attempt to help you while they are nearby, it seems like your issue is with those you are playing with rather than with the cops. Even if someone follows you when you are taken away, if they are shooting cops at the location you are currently held, it is still not clear and they can't seize your gear. Edge cases like these would harm more than they would help to change or remove, as for every civ that is mad they lost their gun earlier than they expect there are 10 civs who want to be processed quickly without going all the way to an HQ in my experience.

considering the ratio of dudes:girls on arma its hard to hear about it or see it but that absolutely happens its just a whole different breed where people stop playing/pursue legal action instead of ddossing someone back/making forums posts
