Hello Boys and Girls, I'd just like to inquire about what the community thought about our recent gang wars event, and what we can do to improve the event if we were to have another in the future. How was the event from an spectator's perspective? Any suggestions? How was the event from a player's perspective? Any suggestions? Maybe you thought the rules weren't well-thought out enough or you had some grievences with the mission file as a player, or you had issue with some staff decisions. Don't use this thread as an outlet to be toxic - your post(s) will be removed, I'd also be willing to hand out some in-game compensation for some well thought out criticism and feedback.

You know maybe the hardest thing to do for a wiki is to put in the groundwork and set up a good base so that the people ahead of you don't have to worry about what's been and only need to worry about what will be. You and your team did just that, set up a good base. I think that's awesome, good shit

For the skeptics: Rules are not set in stone, if something seems bad or fucks over civs too much, it can always change or the sAPD can police it internally. I believe the intention of all of this was to keep it nice and balanced. Rest easy

Due to some recent and historical events, and people complaining. Do note our policy has ALWAYS been that scamming is a completely legal thing to do and is allowed. Don't blindly trust people, work with a middleman both parties trust, always be on edge, etc.

Chapter 13: Red Zone / Illegal Zone / Rebel Outposts 1. Red zones are KOS, no RP is required by Civilians. Gas Stations are never redzones. The Gang Base is not a redzone (Except during Gang Base Skirmish EVENT). (Exception: Killing a player in restraints inside of a red zone is still considered Fail RP). Basically, part of the rule update below has been reverted with the new update:

Exception: Use of explosives against the APD Escort event with intent to blow up the escort vehicle is prohibited and will result in an event disruption ban.

Just some clarification on Gang Bases: Chapter 11: New Life Rule If you die for any reason apart from dying by a Arma bug you may not return to that area for 15 minutes. (1 Kilometer from where you died) Exception: When killed on the Warzone Island or at any cartel NLR will not apply. Exception: When lethaled by cops at Rebel Outposts, APD Escorts or Gang Base, NLR does NOT apply. Have one of you donated enough to make a TeamSpeak channel? Maybe I would suggest squashing the confusion of playing the numbers game (on the APD side) and just hop into a TeamSpeak gang channel when you're doing a federal event so that they can count how many people you have and keep stuff fair. You don't HAVE to do this of course, just an idea. -

Chapter 14: Blue Zones The Pharmaceutical Escort event, APD Escort event, and Art Gallery event Blue Zones allow civilians to kill cops on sight, no RP is required by civilians. Civilians cannot kill other civilians on sight within Blue Zones without any role-play. RDM rules for civilian on civilian engagements is still enforced in Blue Zones. For APD Blue Zone rules refer to the APD Handbook
